Jerry and I have moved around quite a bit. In the summer of 2011, we moved to Spain and we now live in Fuengirola in Málaga Province. This is a chronicle of the paths we have taken and continue to take. Along the way, I tell stories about us and the years leading up to us, the many plunges we've taken together off the high board (sometimes into an empty pool), and all the other stories of two lives constantly on the move.

Hello Mitch:
ReplyDeleteSuch strangeness! Perhaps sights like these are a feature of your new country!!
In the meantime, we do hope that your balcony plants have not suffered the kinds of late frosts which we have been experiencing here, particularly over the Easter weekend.
J&L:
DeleteWe've had very inconsistent weather lately (sun, heat, rain, clouds, wind). Definitely no late frosts, but then we didn't have any early ones either. The new plants are thriving and blossoming.
I don't know for certain if sightings like the above are features of my new country as this is the first person I've seen dressed as a Dalmatian. (More common are Andalusian Hound and Basque Shepherd Dog.)
The poor guy must have lost a bet. Why else would he be carrying a dog food bowl?
ReplyDeleteMs. Sparrow:
DeleteThis will probably remain a mystery.
A huge plastic baggie for that canine...no thanks!
ReplyDeletesophie/Ron:
DeleteI don't even want to think about it!
Wow! what "interesting" pooches they have there, lol
ReplyDeleteMonkey Man:
DeleteAt least this one didn't bark.
How odd! I wonder what that was all about.
ReplyDeleteJudith:
DeleteI wish I knew. I didn't want to yell questions from the balcony.
I'd love to know what it says on the tee shirts...
ReplyDeleteBasque Shepherd Dogs - what an image that conjures up!
Elaine:
DeleteI tried to zoom in on the T-shirts. All I can tell is that the bottom part was a list of names. Unfortunately, I couldn't read the cartoon, which probably would have explained it all!
A 'baby' wanted a ride with me on my scooter the other day, he was hot and not just from dressing up.
ReplyDeleteIt's not a bet they lost, unless you count marrying off as one.
Peter:
DeleteWell, I hope you offered the ride!
He drove with me for a couple of meters, sitting on my knee. Much to the enjoyment of his friends, and I [I must admit], enjoyed it too.
DeleteDear me
ReplyDeleteMost of the men I see on the streets if they are wearing a leash have on a very different sort of outfit.
Ur-spo:
DeleteThe last ones I saw were on Castro Street in San Francisco. No dalmatians there.
Yes … I would not want to have to clean up that dog's waste!
ReplyDeleteJenners:
DeleteBLECH!
I wonder do they have this sort of dog at Crufts?
ReplyDeletethe cuby poet:
DeleteI had to google Crufts! Now that I know what it is, I'm sure his sort is not there. Definitely not show quality.
that head is far too small... its kinda freaky
ReplyDeleteJohn:
DeleteI know. That's why he was rejected by Crufts.
You guys see the funniest things! Every day is a new adventure and I love seeing Sevilla through your eyes. Always makes me chuckle.
ReplyDeleteJeff:
ReplyDeleteThanks for always stopping by and commenting, Jeff. It makes me happy to make you chuckle.
