A Cup, A Cup, A Cup, A Cup, A Cup

When not sleeping off the jet-lag this week (successfully!!!), I've been busy catching up on reading my favorite blogs. Not much time left for my own photo-editing and writing, but I have managed to find time to go out every day for morning coffee with San Geraldo. I have so much more to share, but today I'll simply share my coffee. Here's a view from above (over several days). No fancy pouring. Just the natural beauty of cafe con leche (made by someone else).

  1. Mitchell, coffee is my favourite drink. In my opinion the best coffee is in Germany. But at my place I love coffee at Starbucks or Coffee Heaven.. What about you..

I love Turkish, French, Italian, and of course Spanish coffee. I guess I just don't like traditional American-style coffee. Starbucks specialty coffees -- like Cafe Mocha -- are great!

  2. All of the coffee I drink tastes like hazelnut because I put Carnation hazelnut creamer in everything.

I used to do that at work and loved it... especially since the coffee itself wasn't very good!

We were going to get a nice little machine for ourselves, but our morning coffee out is a good way for us to meet people and socialize so we haven't done that. Still, the idea of sitting on the terrace with that morning cafe con leche does have its attractions.

It would me! I LOVE the smell of coffee and thank god Ron drinks it!
    Great shot.

Oddly, since we moved to Spain, caffeine hasn't affected me the way it used to. (But we do have decaf at night at Sandpipers... Juan Carlos makes the best decaf cafe con leche I've ever had.)

We have so many choices for morning coffee and so many wonderful people at each place. Pictured is Cafe El 90 next door to us. One of our regular haunts...

It's great that you make the time to have coffee together.

We love our morning coffees together. Our challenge is making time apart!

  7. All the coffee I drink is instant granules from jars, being too lazy to mess around with anything else - adding hot water is quite taxing enough. But don't go getting the idea that I'm not picky. Good grief, no! There's the ever-hovering question of whether to have 'regular' or decaff. Oh, decisions, decisions!

Ugh. If I'm going to go all the trouble of 'cooking' instant coffee, I might as well make the real thing. (And you know that will never happen... So I'll keep going out.) Besides, Cafe Manila down the street only charges €1 per cup!

  8. I have to have my two cups of coffee in the morning. Then I'm done for the day or the caffeine will get me!

We usually do 2 cups every morning. Every so often I'll have a third; and I usually regret it!

I do. I just don't get the same creations without the hot, foamy milk.

I had intended to colorize each individual cup and have some fun with it. But it just looked so delicious in its coffee tones that I didn't have the heart to change it.
