Fashion Freak-Out

I have cat photos. Delicious.

Food photos. Delectable.

Scenic photos. Delightful.

But we were out the other night in Benalmádena and I spotted something that eclipsed them all.

THE LAST WORD IN FASHION.

I must point out I'm not judging. I can just imagine what people might say about my choices. It's just that the combination really did take me by surprise.

That was I think her mother with her. She was all in gray and black.

Much more style than his ass-holiness! I'm grateful to her for making me smile.

Clearly, there are plenty of people who love putting together these combinations. More power to them (and yet I can't let them pass unnoticed).

  6. Maybe she was just taking a break from appearing in some theatrical performance? At least that's what I WANT to think.

  7. Those colors would look good on a painting, but they don't do much for this out of shape person.

Well, I don't think in-shape or out-of-shape has anything to do with it. These looks often take me by surprise, but then I'm grateful to the fashionistas for giving me inspiration.

I don't have these things in my closet to even put together by accident. I'm actually thinking it looks like fun!

It's mostly Brits and Finns that dress like this here. I wonder what we'll see in London in February! Maybe a trip to Helsinki is in order.

  11. That is deeply terrible. Even so I do like her sneakers. ;)

  12. She is not afraid of patterns. I like the Red shoes. I hope she had a great time.

I love your reaction. She didn't LOOK very happy at that particular moment, but I hope she was... at least with her outfit.

  13. Is there anything called pattern blindness? Because you can't write this off to colour blindness

I wondered the same thing. But then I also wonder if we (and not she) simply suffer from limited style vision.

  15. When we see folks on the streets here dressed in bizarre combinations, I always tell Bill.... Mitchell should see THIS one! Only thing different here is that most folks have a lot less on...
