Climbing The Wall

Whether skies are gray and winds are blowing (like today) or skies are blue and winds are blowing (like yesterday), Moose greets us every single time we return home.

He flops on his side on the floor in the entryway and waits to get petted. He's taken to bracing himself to allow us to give him a powerful cuddle.

FEET PLANTED ON BASEBOARD.
(MOPBOARD, SKIRTING, RODAPIE... )

Thanks so much for your visit. Moose is adorable and insistent. And he likes company when he eats... every three minutes. He also heels, keeping pace with us back and forth around the house... unless we tell him to, of course.

Kiss Jerry good morning? No, wait, Moose needs to be petted first.

  4. You're truly honoured to be appreciated in such a way by Moose. My entry is only ever acted on by Noodles, and it's in no way a 'greeting', more a demand to be fed - even before I can make myself a coffee. And while he's tucking in I've got to look for where, if anywhere, he's done his latest wee! I wish Moose could show him how to act with politeness and consideration.

Dudo was the one who used to always greet us at the door. Now he does so only if we've gone the entire day OR if he thinks it might be treat time. Thankfully no wee to go in search of.

Dudo used to greet us and Moose stayed behind. Now, Dudo usually only shows up at the door if he thinks it's treat time.

  6. It actually looks like he is figuring out a way to start walking on the wall :) Perhaps that's what he's really doing when you are out

If Dudo could, he would, I don't think Moose could be bothered going any higher than that.

  7. Great photo Mitchell! Must be something about tuxedo kitties. Our Sam, Dudo's double, did the same thing, also putting her face up for a kiss.
    Thanks for reminding me Mitchell!

I wish Moose would put HIS face up for a kiss. He wants constant attention and cuddling but he will not sit on a lap or be picked up. Every so often I do manage to sneak in for a kiss.

And in your home, the patter of cat, dog, chicken, duck... and multiple other feet.
