My Views

My social and political views are pretty obvious, I think, to my regular visitors. I have strong opinions, I believe in spreading the wealth, I try to keep an open mind, I respect differences, and I have no tolerance for hate of any kind (unless you tell me you hate baked beans or beetroot).

I hope my views are as clear as those from our freshly washed windows or from my walks on the beach.

(Click the images to see things much more clearly.)

A MID-MORNING FROM MY BEDROOM.
LOOKING SOUTH FROM THE TERRACE.
A WALK ON THE BEACH FRIDAY.
STILL WALKING ON THE BEACH.
AND THIS MORNING FROM BED AROUND 6:45.
(I THOUGHT IT WAS SUNDAY AND AN HOUR LATER DUE TO EUROPEAN SUMMER TIME!)

That dawn view made it impossible for me to not go find my camera. I did manage to go back to sleep a while later!

The Mediterranean Sea is beautiful from our location. And the City continues to make improvements all round town. A great spot.

Separated at birth (although by around 10 years, I think)! I almost used that song for this post because that's all I kept singing as I edited photos!

Ugh! If it touches anything on my plate, the contaminated portions have to be removed. I just hate it!!!

  14. Absolutely beautiful, so love that set of windows you put in. It sure extends your living space. And yes, your views are very clear :) as I am sure all your followers have nearly the same opinions. I do hate cooked spinach but love it raw in salad...so there's that. Cheers my friend

The glass curtain has made us love our apartment. Winter was so much more pleasant this year. I love spinach, but I sometimes have an allergic reaction to it (it irritates my mouth). If it's cooked to death, it's no problem. There's a popular traditional Southern Spanish dish we used to always find in Sevilla, which is spinach and garbanzo beans (espinaca con garbanzo). They stew together forever, which means I can really enjoy it.

I start to take it for granted sometimes and then I'm surprised by it again. I hope I never stop appreciating this.
