Dudo-Oodle-Oodle-Oodle-Oodle-Ay

La version español está después de la versión inglés.

THE TRUE LYRICS  of the song "It's a Hap Hap Happy Day" — from the 1939 animated film "Gulliver's Travels" — are "Toodle-oodle-oodle-oodle-oodle-ay." But they don't make any sense anyway so I figure I can do what I want. Today is all about Dudo because he makes me happy and some days, like today, and for no reason at all, I need some help.

Dudo's not big on sharing my affection with his brother, Moose. So an upcoming post will be all about Moose, who is not big on sharing my affection with Dudo. They love each other. They just don't like to share.

YES, DUDO, IT IS ALL ABOUT YOU. AND NO, I CAN'T PET AND TYPE AT THE SAME TIME.
SÍ, DUDO, ES TODO SOBRE TU. Y NO, NO PUEDO ACARICIAR Y ESCRIBIR AL MISMO TIEMPO.
"YOU'RE MISTAKEN. I HAVE NOT HAD MY TREAT!"
"ERES EQUIVICADO. ¡NO HE TENIDO MI APERITIVO!"
"TELL THE BIRDS I'M ONLY HERE TO DO THE LAUNDRY."
"DIGA A LOS PÁJAROS ESTOY AQUÍ PARA HACER LA LAVANDERÍA."
"NO TREAT? NO NEW TOY? NOT INTERESTED!"
"NO APERITIVO. NO NUEVO JUGUETE. NO INTERESADO!"

"Four and twenty sunbeams are dancing round my face."
"Cuatro y veinte rayos de sol bailan alrededor de mi cara."

He really is good. He never goes up on the kitchen counters and he never eats any plants... unless we leave the room.

And they don't. He inspects everything that comes into the house. Move a piece of furniture? He inspects it. And if something is left lying on the floor, even a sock, he creeps up on it as if it might explode.

  10. Great shots of the super-photogenic Dudo! I especially like the laundry image and the one right after it - they are such a contrast of total focused attention and not giving a damn. Thanks for sharing these and I hope they made you as happy as they made me.

Before that final shot, he just looked so sweet as he slept. The eye he gave me was hilarious.

  12. Such tidy cats! It's amazing how perfect house cats can look. Our Bert is a ragged version of a cat, handsome, but covered with little scars and with several notches cut into his ears. He hunts, he fights. He brought us another mouse yesterday while we were sitting out on the deck. Tasha was incredibly curious, so we had to pick up the dead mouse by the tail and toss it off the deck. Bert was down there in a shot to eat it, in peace.

Sometimes, they got a bit aggressive with each other and will end up with bruises on their faces. Other than that, they tend to be bright and shiny... especially since we installed the glass curtain on the terrace... and they stopped sleeping in the planter boxes!

He's got the most expressive eyes and is unbelievably smart... and bossy.
