Go Ahead Jump / Adelante Salta

SAN GERALDO AND I have been know to jump into just about anything in our time together. We have ideas. We talk. We plan. We take the plunge. "What's the worst that can happen?" we ask. And then we decide we can survive whatever that is. When we talked in 1999 of opening a hotel in Palm Springs, California, we decided the worst that could happen would be that we'd go broke and have to start all over again. We did... and we did. And we survived. This is about as stable (well, that's a relative term) as we've been for a very long time. We've lived in the same city in the same home for 4-1/2 years. That's nearly a record.

FROM MY WALK ON THE BEACH MONDAY. THIS IS WHERE WE BELONG.
DE MI PASEO EN LA PLAYA LUNES. SOMOS A DONDE PERTENECEMOS.

Might as well jump.
Deberías saltar también.

I can't believe I used to think that blond woman was hot! Must have been the hairy chest.

  3. Good life lesson.
If you don't take a leap every so often how will you ever know what you can do.
That said, when's your next jump?

Just want to do some hopping right now and explore more of Spain and Europe... but you never know what might inspire us.

No major jump being considered. But who knows what's ahead.

  5. terrific photo sequence. Even though you have been in the same geographic location for 4.5 years, you seem to manage to keep things lively and interesting. Like you, we hate to get in a rut.

  6. As soon as I read the title of your post, I thought of that song. Haha.

I envy you your risk taking as a couple. My husband and I rarely take a risk of any kind, and while it's safe, sometimes I'm afraid we're missing out.....

We sometimes stress ourselves to the extreme but we thrive on change.

Thanks. We've moved a lot. And I was on the move before I met Jerry. I always wondered if I was running away from something. Since being here, I feel like I was just always running towards Spain.
