No Words / Sin Palabras

PERHAPS YOU WILL understand why I have absolutely nothing to say.

QUIZÁS ENTENDERÁS por qué no tengo absolutamente nada que decir.

Two different shoes would be a huge improvement.

  3. I can see I'm going to have to come over there right quick. * shakes head* I'm only surprised at least one isn't wearing Crocs!

OK, time for a true confession! About 12 years ago, I owned a pair of Crocs. Actually, I owned a pair of Dawgs. And I must admit they were the most comfortable things I ever put on my feet. I am ashamed to say that when they finally wore out, I caved to peer pressure and did not replace them. Admittedly, I see WAY TOO MANY Crocs and their cheap imitations around here! So, yes, it's shocking none of these four wear wearing them.

  4. Good lord, I don't know what to say! The bottom left gentleman looks like he is wearing his pyjama bottoms.
    Take care Mitchell!

I've been loosening up over the years, but these required me to take something to settle my stomach.

You know, that does bring up an interesting (to me) thought: If I want to distract from the fact that I haven't shaved, my beard and head need trimming, and I've got huge bags under my eyes, all I have to do is wear one of these get-ups. I can honestly tell you nothing else about these guys.

  11. @ Anne Marie and Mitchell....lol,lol,lol. I never had a pair but only endorse them in the garden and not street wear. On the street clogs must be worn. But just saw a interesting article they are in big financial trouble and closing their stores. I swear, I HAD nothing to do with it. *skips away whistling *

Maybe Dawgs is putting them out of business! (Actually, it's all the cheap knock-offs... as if the originals weren't cheap enough.)

  12. I prefer leather shoes with composite soles, having said that I do have others of manmade fibres which are equally comfortable. Not though rainproof only shower proof at best. Check shirts yes just a few, short pants none, I like my legs covered and the climate that I live in is not generally conducive to short pants.

Living here, I spend a good part of the year in shorts. I have one subtle plaid pair. The rest are solids. I like shoes that breathe... and sandals. Crocs do not breathe.

I haven't shared the combinations worn onto the beach because, when it comes to matching shirts to bathing suits, I give people a pass. HOWEVER, I do have photos!

Ha! At least my father was never one for patterns (although he only lived to the age of 60, so lord only knows what might have developed). But, in the '70s, he did have a favorite outfit. A pair of iridescent/electric blue pants topped by an iridescent/electric green shirt. Each hideous on their own. And for some odd reason (no taste?) he thought they were meant to be worn together. I have no idea where he ever got them but my mother gave them away one day -- after a couple of years or more!
