Enough / Sufficiente

I DON'T REMEMBER what the story was about, but it was our friend the Goddess Elena's birthday Monday and San Geraldo began our dinner at Mesón Salvador with a story.

NO RECUERDO DE qué se trataba la cuenta, pero fue el cumpleaños de nuestra amiga la Diosa Elena el lunes y San Geraldo comenzó nuestra comida en Mesón Salvador con una cuenta.

American author Melody Beattle wrote, "Gratitude makes what we have enough."

I have enough.

Tengo suficiente.

ELENA ASKED FOR A SMALL BEER...
ELENA PIDIÓ UNA PEQUEÑA CERVEZA.
... AND THEN RECEIVED MORE THAN SHE ASKED FOR.
...Y LUEGO RECIBIDO MÁS DE LO QUE ELLA PEDIÓ.

You would love those guys and they hug and kiss us in greeting... because they're Spanish, kind, and enlightened.

I'm not usually one for sappy generalizations (of the Hallmark card variety), but this one really hit home.

No, but as you might be able to tell from the series of photos, he DOES have a lot of hot air.
