Parasol Ponytails / Coletas De Sombrillas

La versión español está después de la primera foto.

THEY'RE NOT ONLY rolling up the boardwalks on our beaches, the beach club owners are thinning out the ranks of their lounge chairs and sombrillas (parasols). Eventually, most of these will be gone for a few months before it all starts up again.

I DIDN'T REALIZE THOSE FANCY PONY TAILS WERE REMOVABLE (OR THEY'D BE SQUASHED IN STORAGE).
NO ME DI CUENTA DE QUE ESAS EXTRAVAGANTES COLETAS ERAN EXTRAÍBLES (O SERíAN APLASTADOS EN EL ALMACENAMIENTO).

    1. Kirk,
They’re very ordinary on most of the beach, but a few have classy ones.

  3. I've never seen the fancy pony tails on palapas before, the ones in Mexico don't have that...maybe a Spain thing? Snobby palapas?

    1. Cheapchick,
We have mostly the standard variety but there are a few spots that invest in much classier styles.

    1. Adam,
If they were, I’d be tempted to set fire to them I think.

  8. Like Cheapchick, I've never seen ponytails like that in Mexico or Hawaii, the only two exotic beach places I've ever been.

There’s an interesting mix of sombrilla styles here. I’ll do a post of the styles.

I DO like this time of year when the crowds thin along with the chairs and sombrillas.
