I Guess I'm Good For A Laugh

Yesterday, as I washed my face in the bathroom sink, I noticed the door swing in just a tad. I glanced down and saw one of Dudo's mouse toys peaking out from behind the door.

I knew Dudo was nearby waiting for me to play, so I bent down to pick up the mouse. Just as I did so, Dudo decided to come barreling into the bathroom. He jumped up on his hind legs and used his front paws and all his power to push the door open. Forcefully. It slammed me right in the head.

I don't have a shiner, but I do have a bump and a little split in my forehead. And I'm pretty sure I caught Dudo laughing. I'll let you be the judge.

    Can it be that he wants you to take him a bit more seriously, as a force to be reckoned with? Not just the local entertainment? Just wondering!

      I don't need to be drunk. I once had a shiner from walking into a tree. Stone-cold sober. Nobody believed me then either.

    Sure looks like a laugh to me. Dudo must be the kind that laughs at other people's pain. Speaking of pain: oh my, what a painful looking black patch under your eye! Haven't seen a bruise like that before. Glad you didn't get another one from Dudo.

      I was very proud of that shiner. I was also very lucky. It was an accident and the baseball bat hit bone, missing my eye by a hair! I've still got the scar.

      Well there went a missed opportunity for humor. I completely forgot that "mouse" was another term for "shiner"! Dudo is now sound asleep in my lap and I'm about to make him move so I can have lunch. Who's laughing now?!? (Um... I suppose... nobody.)
