Overexposed

San Geraldo and I strolled over to Sandpiper Tuesday night for dinner. As we neared the restaurant, we heard music we hadn't heard on the street before. Could it be the half-naked Brazilians (click here)? Yes!

(Click any image to see more flesh.. if you dare.)

At the height of summer, the group comprised close to 10 musicians, singers, dancers, and gymnasts. They've dwindled to only four. Not quite the same effect. But at least I got to see them in action.

THE LITTLE GIRL (DAUGHTER OF A RESTAURANT OWNER) WAS ADORABLE.
BUT IT PROBABLY WASN'T THE SMARTEST PLACE FOR HER TO STAND.
PASSING THE TAMBOURINE ON SANDPIPER'S TERRACE.

Since the Half-Naked Brazilians were a bit of a let-down (at least for me), I thought I'd share another half-naked foreigner who passed by Tuesday morning.

THIS BARE-BELLY (BEER BELLY?) LOOK IS POPULAR AMONG THE TOURISTS...
SADLY THOUGH, NEVER AMONG THE TOURISTS WITH ABS OF STEEL.

There are plenty of abs-of-steel sightings here, too. But I'm especially fascinated(?) by these guys with their shirts pulled up. Are they working on tummy tans?

Me too! And, yes, the weather has been mostly summer-like, although rain and winds are back again at times.

  3. Wow, hang on! Did you post twice today? :) I thought I had read your family post early this morning, and then this is here this evening :) Loved them both. I think that everyone in the U.S., with little kids, had that bright-red high chair, or the similar bright yellow version, back in the late 50s and early 60s :)
I loved seeing your family photos! And the Brazilian dancers are so full of life!

Those posts were I think 36 hours apart. You're just too busy.

But you don't roll up your shirts to give yourself that 2-piece bathing suit tan.

  7. 'If you've got it, show it' is what I say - though we'll make an exception for the last pic.

And, sadly, those are the ones he for some reason always show it!

Unfortunately, so did I. The half-naked Brazilian dancers have dwindled.

  9. That guy in the last photo doesn't need the labels on his shirt and shorts screaming his status: With a "Power Belly" like his, it's clear who the Boss of Fuengirola is!

Although I think after seeing my photo, Hugo Boss is going to contact this guy to be the new "face" of the clothing line.
