I'm Gonna Get Up, I'm Gonna Get Out

This barometric pressure/seasonal allergy stuff has gotten old. I really need to get out of the house.

But first, I really need to give some thought to what I'll wear in public.

MY COPY OF A COPY OF A COPY OF DIOR.
(TAKEN WHILE THE "STOPCOLD" MEDICINE WAS WORKING.)
MORE ACCURATE COLOUR. (TOO MUCH SUNSHINE EARLIER.)
NOT REALLY FAKE DIOR: GEOFFREY BEENE AND CHAPS.

There's gotta be something better than this ... outfit.

Back in bed most of today. But I think I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Gotta get outside and make my fashion statement.

  2. I'm dizzy! lol The colours work though.
Being a fellow sinus-sufferer, I know what you are going through, Mitchell.
Yes, get up and out....get that blood circulating. Ever try a cortisone nasal spray? i use one sparingly but get very good results.

I SHOULD try a nasal spray, but the idea of it disgusts me. Pathetic. Last night was a bad stomach and chills night. Maybe this whole thing is working its way through my system. I think I need to buy me some plaids!

I don't think I'm ready to walk down the street it what I consider pyjama pants, although plenty of people do.

Fortunately, I wear the pants only indoors!

  5. Not everyone can pull off an outfit combining plaids and stripes.

This combination really is beginning to look good to me. I guess it's all in the attitude.

  6. You will have to push harder than that to beat - or even match- some of the outfits you have photographed. But get up and go out in what you have and work up to it slowly! The sunlight should help you feel better.

Today was a summer-like day, but I've spent most of it in bed. Tomorrow? That sun had better be shining, because I plan to enjoy some of it -- in tastefully understated clothing.

  7. Okay you better watch out or you will start looking like some of those photos of tourists that grace your blog :) Clear heads ahead!

I still haven't gone out in public in this combination. There's still hope.

Yeah, this combination actually looks pretty good to me (although I still won't go out in it). Back in bed most of today, but I DID get to go out for coffee yesterday! I'm sure tomorrow will be a better day (just call me Scarlet).

This combo looks kind of fun to me. Before I snapped, I checked to see what underwear I was wearing (I've got lots of plaids and stripes). Sadly, they were solid gray that day.

Sadly (well not really) I don't even have a copy of a copy of a fake Dior.

  12. I think you may be setting a new trend there! I found Gordon in a similar outfit the other day and wouldn't let him leave the house. :)

I haven't left the house in this either, but the look is definitely growing on me (which means it's probably time to put on some clean clothes).

I've always been in the black/brown/gray range with some small forays. My underwear is another story.
