I'm hoping to be back tomorrow with news of my miraculous recovery from my minor procedure that I have turned into a major event. In the meantime, enjoy our sunshine. I've got to be on my way now.

YESTERDAY: SEA GLASS IN ITS NATURAL ENVIRONMENT... KIND OF. |

TODAY, THE VASE IS NEARLY FULL SAYS THE COCK-EYED OPTIMIST. |
And now I think I'll go outside for a while... and just smile.
So, the apartment next to yours is empty and in move-in condition? Any kind of surgery is nerve-wracking, no matter how 'simple' a procedure is. Sending you extra hugs for your leave of absence... don't forget to have some chocolate to steady my nerves.
ReplyDeleteI want swings now, and for this music to be playing whilst I swing.
Jacqueline:
DeleteThe apartment next door is one of the few exclusively vacation rentals in the building. So only move-in ready if you want a holiday. However, I noticed yesterday that the penthouse is for sale. i'll just give them your email (along with my personal reference). Jerry bought chocolate bars to bake brownies (for Elena!!!) It took all my self-control to not tear into one. But their dark, unsweetened bakers chocolate. Besides, now it's too late to partake. There's better be some for me on Wednesday!
So it is not an abdominal hernia then?
ReplyDeleteAndrew:
DeleteInguinal
Ok, same as a friend had and he ended up with swollen balls post operative. My abdominal hernia surgery had me off work for 6 weeks and years later, it is still a tender spot. You seemed quite relaxed about it, so I did not ask which it was until the last minute. Thankfully for you, it was not the surgery I had. Sorry, but are your 'nads looking really big at the moment?
DeleteYour sea and beach give off much more colorful and beautiful shells and glass than the New Jersey shore ever did. So lovely:)
ReplyDeleteJudy:
DeleteVery different.
I love that first photo... of the glass and shells on the beach. I'm betting that San G. will have something special fixed for you soon.
ReplyDeleteHernia B Gone!
ReplyDeleteI think I may make it my drag name.

DeleteMine can be Carmen Hernietta Inguillina
Rise and shine!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful collection you have, Mitchell!
All the best and see you back here soon.
Your beach has lots of interesting shells and glass on it, much more than ours. I am sure San G will have recovery food ready for you, and that chocolate will be in there somewhere! Thinking of you and looking forward to hearing of your miracle recovery. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteThere are more chocolates here than even I can handle... well, than I can handle in only a few days!
Got my fingers and toes crossed in anticipation of the good news - and it's damn painful!
ReplyDeleteWhatever your procedure, I'll be thinking of you. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThink happy thoughts and everything will go smoothly. You will be out on the beach playing volleyball in no time lol :)
ReplyDeleteCheapchick:
DeleteI'm so excited. I wasn't very good at volleyball before!
Be well & move with care during initial post-op time. You'll be back on that lovely sand in no time. Take care of yourself. Don't forget the healing properties of chocolate...it should speed your recovery!
