Well, we've made it into 2016. Things are looking up.
And, even if things aren't looking up, at least the cats are.
I'd tell you Dudo and Musy wish you all a happy new year, but that would be a lie. Even if they actually had a clue, they probably couldn't be bothered. So, happy new year from the rest of us.
And to you all!
ReplyDeleteBonne année, Seine Judeet! (which in San Geraldo's French would sound like "bone Annie"... um, on second thought, Happy New Year!
DeleteThey ARE a little 'wide-eyed', aren't they!! But are they cute or what!! You could take these acrobatic kitties 'on the road', Mitch! Think of the possibilities! Hey, I'm a dreamer.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and Jerry.....from the Nova Scotian 3 Amigoes.
Jim:
DeleteIf you want wide-eyed, wait until I share the shot of Dudo after the scaffolding passed by our terrace the other day. Taking these cats on the road. I don't even want to think about it.
Very talented cats you have! What on earth had their undivided attention? We have a gorgeous sunny start to our 2016 and new sand on the beach; things are definitely looking up. Wishing you and SG a wonderful 2016. Dudo and Musy too, even though they don't care what I wish. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteWe had a sunny start to the year as well. Today is cloudy -- but beautifully cloudy with glimpses of blue sky every so often. Dudo can fix his attention on something forever and a day. So, he's easy. Moose usually doesn't hold a pose (an awake pose) that long. For some reason, they were both in sync at that moment. I walked over with my camera at the ready and simply wiggled a finger in the air above my head. It always works for Dudo. Moose was kind that day.
Wow yours cats are fantastic boys. Have a great year...
ReplyDeleteGosia:
DeleteVery entertaining. And they've sure won our hearts.
Sundance and Cassidy wish Dudo, Musy and their staff "Prospero año nuevo."
ReplyDeleteMichael:
DeleteHope everyone is happily settling in!
Well, of course they can't wish us a Happy New Year. Moose is concentrating too deeply on keeping Dudo steadily balanced there on his head.
ReplyDeleteBut a happy 2016 to you all.
Marty:
DeleteIt's a good thing Moose is so solidly built and Dudo is so wraithlike.
Happy New Year to you, San Geraldo, and your clueless kitties.
ReplyDeleteSmooches!
Robyn:
DeleteDudo's not very happy with me. "Who you calling clueless?" he says. "I just don't give a shit!" As for Moose: Yep, clueless.
Happy New Year to you in return. I love the cat pyramid.
ReplyDeleteAndrew:
DeleteWishing you (and us all) a year filled with peace and love.
They seem shocked to have been spotted like that!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Mitch!!!!
Bob:
DeleteThat was simply me holding a finger in the air as I snapped the picture. They're so easy to train. (Ha!!!)
Love that photo! Can't tell you how many times a day I make some blunder... monkeys are mano... right? oops... ... and think of San Geraldo.... and your gentle (ha!) corrections... (uh huh!) Happy New Year, you two... Love to you both!
ReplyDeleteSharon:
DeleteMono or mano. Not TOO embarrassing. But try to not get conejos confused with cojones. (And now that I've planted it in your head, you definitely will.)
I bet these cats can't even spell happy new year.
ReplyDeleteSpo:
DeleteWell, they can't WRITE it -- no thumbs. But they can say it and spell it in both English and Spanish. (You'll have to take my word for it though; they only do it for me.)
Happy new year to all! Too bad Letterman's off the air...
ReplyDeleteWalt the Fourth:
DeleteI've been so tempted to Photoshop out the platform evidence from the photo.
Nest thing we'll be seeing is D & M doing trapeze. But do give them a safety net even if they do (usually) land on all fours.
ReplyDeleteHNY to you and to SG - and please convey same to D & M, even if they do turn their rear end to give a couldn't-care-less whisk of tail.
Raybeard:
DeleteI met a professional acrobat at my cousin's wedding in August. Maybe I should ask him to give the boys lessons. We all send you best wishes for a good year!
Good photo. Usually when I rush to get the camera to take the cats they have moved when I get back.... quick camera..... ahh too late. You will know the feeling no doubt.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and your cats and your SG who I don't know.
Rachel:
DeleteDudo, the top cat, will pose forever. He's very cooperative. Moose, the bottom cat, usually turns his back on the camera, unless he's half asleep. I thanked him profusely for this one. We all (well, SG and I) send good wishes back to you!
Muchos Happy New Yearness to you all!!!
ReplyDeleteRon:
DeleteSpanish-Canadian! I've never seen it written.
I LOVE those two. What a great shot!
ReplyDeleteKnatolee:
DeleteThey are a great pair and so different. I love them both more every day.
