He's a cat of few words. But then who needs words when you look like this?
Thursday morning, as we were about to head out for coffee, I grabbed my camera to snap a quick picture of a flirtatious Dudo. This is what he did over the next 60 seconds.
Michael: I felt like he was following the professional fotog's queues without a word being said. "Look sultry." "Come on baby. Make love to the camera." "Like your lips." "I didn't say, chew your paw. I said lick your lips!"
I know that expression so well. The little scamp with his cheeky "Don't you DARE!" look, warning that if you try to pick him up or tickle his tummy he'll grab your hand and hold it in his claws while his back legs go kick, kick, kick against you.
Bob: Thanks for noticing that. It was hilarious. He didn't even chew anything. It was simply another pose he took before moving on to the next, and never once taking his eyes off me.

Alright Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up.
ReplyDeleteNubian:
DeleteI'm constantly spouting that line when I snap pictures of Dudo. Musy's other name, however, should be Garbo.
awwwww :)
ReplyDeleteJudy:
DeleteThat's exactly the reaction Dudo was going for.
MITCH! This is SO sweet!
ReplyDeleteI think Dudo likes you.
Jim:
DeleteIt's a love fest.
You've been right about Dudo all along. He really is a fashion model in a cat suit. (Long-time lurker coming out of the woodwork here.)
ReplyDeleteA. Marie:
DeleteThanks for coming out of the shadows (woodwork)! As I've mentioned before, our niece says he looks like Kate Moss.
Dudo does have the professional model's gaze-into-the-camera look down pat.

His head hardly moved at all and yet each shot is different. He is a shameless flirt.
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteThe "contortions of adorability" were hilarious. There was hardly any movement except in his legs and tail.
What a sweet snookums you have there!!
ReplyDeleteRon:
DeleteAnd he knows it.
Did you have Right Said Fred playing?
ReplyDeleteThe Cranky:
DeleteIn my head...

ReplyDeleteRay:
DeleteDudo would never do any of that. His look means, "I'm so adorable you couldn't possibly consider being anywhere but here, could you?"
He looks especially good on that white background.
ReplyDeleteRachel:
DeleteThe great thing about a black and white cat. He looks good on almost any background.
precious little guy! I wanna snorgle that fluffy tummy!
ReplyDeleteanne marie:
DeleteHe's a sweetheart.
Somebody loves the camera.
ReplyDeleteStephen:
DeleteI'm going to do a 60-second photo shoot with Musy. Somebody doesn't love the camera.
Completely irresistible. Cats seem to know how to pour it on.
ReplyDeleteCheapchick:
DeleteDudo has us wrapped around his little toe.
after all it is in their job description.
ReplyDeleteSpo:
DeleteYes, it is.
Ah, the old Back Paw In My Mouth Makes Me Look Cute pose.
ReplyDeleteI know it well.
