What a great photo of the beach and tree, Mitchell. Nice job.I think we wore out this album back in '73-'74......I knew each song by heart, and still do. All time favourite which brings back a very special year in my life.Sleep well.
Jim:I loved and still love this album. It's one of my workout collections... as well as his "Graceland."
Was that photo taken at midnight? It seems so light.Enjoy your weekend.DiX
Di:Photo was taken at dusk. I wrote the post at midnight. I can be a little confusing sometimes.
Such a calm, serene image of the coast. Nighty night!
Stephen:"Season" hasn't hit yet. It's still pretty serene around here.
It's all of 8:30 pm here and I'm about to head for bed... what a perfect song to end the day.... very nice..... (thought of you today... was in a wine store and was looking for a nice bottle of sherry..... ahhhh.... Spain.... ahhhh... memories)
Sharon:Ahhhh, vino dulce!
Awwww, that makes me feel like the day has been capped off, and now it's clearly time for bed. Nighty night. (Great photo.)Judy
Judy:Listening to that song made me listen to the entire album. Now I've moved onto "Graceland."
I didn't know this Paul Simon song nor, to my shame, do I recall the album, even though I've always been a 'back-seat' Simon (and S & G) fan. Clearly my life's been incomplete.
Raybeard:This album is incredible. Check it out on youtube and I think you'll be hooked. Are you familiar with his "Graceland" album? My all-time favorite... when I'm not thinking about "Rhymin' Simon."
I am worried about this lone palm tree and how the heck it got there.
Spo:It's only lone in my photo. They're scattered along the beach. Bird droppings?
