What a great photo of the beach and tree, Mitchell. Nice job.
I think we wore out this album back in '73-'74......I knew each song by heart, and still do. All time favourite which brings back a very special year in my life. Sleep well.
It's all of 8:30 pm here and I'm about to head for bed... what a perfect song to end the day.... very nice..... (thought of you today... was in a wine store and was looking for a nice bottle of sherry..... ahhhh.... Spain.... ahhhh... memories)
I didn't know this Paul Simon song nor, to my shame, do I recall the album, even though I've always been a 'back-seat' Simon (and S & G) fan. Clearly my life's been incomplete.
Raybeard: This album is incredible. Check it out on youtube and I think you'll be hooked. Are you familiar with his "Graceland" album? My all-time favorite... when I'm not thinking about "Rhymin' Simon."

DeleteI loved and still love this album. It's one of my workout collections... as well as his "Graceland."
Was that photo taken at midnight? It seems so light.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.

DeletePhoto was taken at dusk. I wrote the post at midnight. I can be a little confusing sometimes.
Such a calm, serene image of the coast. Nighty night!

Delete"Season" hasn't hit yet. It's still pretty serene around here.

Awwww, that makes me feel like the day has been capped off, and now it's clearly time for bed. Nighty night. (Great photo.)

DeleteListening to that song made me listen to the entire album. Now I've moved onto "Graceland."

I am worried about this lone palm tree and how the heck it got there.

DeleteIt's only lone in my photo. They're scattered along the beach. Bird droppings?
