Ooh, Little Sleepy Boy

It's nearly midnight and I don't have much to share with you. Just a photo and a lullaby. And now I hope to close my weary eyes. Sweet dreams.

TODAY AT DUSK ON LOS BOLICHES BEACH. (CLICK IT.)

  1. What a great photo of the beach and tree, Mitchell. Nice job.

I think we wore out this album back in '73-'74......I knew each song by heart, and still do. All time favourite which brings back a very special year in my life.
    Sleep well.

I loved and still love this album. It's one of my workout collections... as well as his "Graceland."

  2. Was that photo taken at midnight? It seems so light.

Photo was taken at dusk. I wrote the post at midnight. I can be a little confusing sometimes.

"Season" hasn't hit yet. It's still pretty serene around here.

  5. Awwww, that makes me feel like the day has been capped off, and now it's clearly time for bed. Nighty night. (Great photo.)

Listening to that song made me listen to the entire album. Now I've moved onto "Graceland."

  6. I didn't know this Paul Simon song nor, to my shame, do I recall the album, even though I've always been a 'back-seat' Simon (and S & G) fan. Clearly my life's been incomplete.

This album is incredible. Check it out on youtube and I think you'll be hooked. Are you familiar with his "Graceland" album? My all-time favorite... when I'm not thinking about "Rhymin' Simon."

  7. I am worried about this lone palm tree and how the heck it got there.

It's only lone in my photo. They're scattered along the beach. Bird droppings?
