MOOSE'S SUCCULENT SUCCULENT AT LEFT. |
YOU CAN SEE THE TOPS MOOSE HAS NIPPED OFF. |
MOOSE THE LURKER. (CLICK ON ANY OF THE CATS TO MAGNIFY THE FRUSTRATION.) |
DUDO: "WHATEVER YOU'RE DOING, I CAN HELP." |
"OPEN THE DAMNED WINDOW!" |
"I KNOW THAT'S THE LOCK. NOW IF I ONLY HAD FINGERS." |
"I'M SERIOUS. OPEN THE F@$#@%G WINDOW!" |
LOL! Love this! There must be something about the new growth on the succulent plant. Sophie does the same every spring with new growth on spruce/fir trees....she eats them however.
ReplyDeleteHey, I totally appreciate Dudo's frustration!
Funny!!! I love how cats paw at the glass to get the door to open. Dudo is so expressive, I can just imagine those words coming out of his mouth.
ReplyDeleteOh, the poor naked succulent. On the other hand, Moose was bringing you presents - how sweet.
Jo:
DeleteMoose wasn't being so kind (no presents for us). He was simply nipping off the tops and letting them drop. The little stinker.
Ahhhhhhhhhh Moose and Dudo and your writing (and your excellent photos!) always make my day :)
ReplyDeleteJudeet:
DeleteAhhh, Judeet. You always make mine. Thanks!
Put dusters on his paws
ReplyDeleteAt least he could buff up the glass
John:
DeleteTheir paws seem to have built-in dusters. I can tell by the paw prints they leave all over the dark wood furniture when they come back inside.
Wonder what it is about that cactus that Moose likes so much? Maybe he's been reading too much Carlos Castaneda.....
ReplyDeleteSharon:
DeleteCastaneda is too "high"-brow for Moose. But he did recently catch "Cactus Flower" on TV.
I think the kitties know enough to not get injured by the cacti. Cats are smart, and yours seem to be smarter than most. And cuter.
ReplyDeleteStephen:
DeleteWe actually weren't really worried, but a number of people expressed their concern. We figured, at worst, they'd get poked once and learn. But, thanks for noticing how unusually intelligent our cats are. Within a week, Dudo learned how to pull a door open with his paw. It only took him another year 6 months to figure out how to PUSH.
For safety's sake I think you'll have to get rid of them, Mitch. NO!!!! Not them - the cacti! The last thing I want to read about is Moose having to undergo an appointment with a stomach-pump.
ReplyDeleteRaybeard:
DeleteNo worries. Moose doesn't swallow. He just nips and spits.
Love succulents and so does the meow meow!!
ReplyDeleteHey maybe Dudo could be on a leash of some sort?
Ron:
DeleteBefore San Geraldo got the succulent off the terrace and out of the reach of the cats, I spotted Moose standing over it, snapping the tops off, and tossing them away with a quick flip of his head. I was tempted to take a video, but decided it was more important to stop him from destroying the plant. Dudo on a leash? You want to watch a cat have a nervous breakdown?
Sure.....that would be kitty cool....just teasing!!
