Here I had been worried about over-burdening one of those pedal/slide boats. From what I just saw on the water, I don't think San Geraldo and I have anything to worry about. Those boats just might be unsinkable. But, just in case, I'm considering learning how to say "We are sinking!" in a variety of languages. I think it's
"¡Nos estamos hundiendo!" in Spanish

I COUNTED NINE. THEIR COMBINED WEIGHT HAS GOT TO BE MORE THAN OURS. |

RIDING LOW IN THE REAR, BUT STILL AFLOAT. |

A REGATTA. |

AN UNEXPECTED IMAGE OF A UFO (LOWER LEFT).
(I WONDER IF THEY, TOO, HAVE TO REGISTER AS ALIENS.) |
Buahahaha "What are you sinking about?"
ReplyDeleteThose boats look like a lot of fun!
Nubian:
DeleteI sink we'll get on those boats eventually.
I'm waiting for a photo of you two on one of those boats. Don't disappoint us!
ReplyDeleteStephen:
DeleteTrust me, if we get on one of those boats, there will be A LOT of photos!
Kind of reminds me of Mexico... how many people can ride in a truck driving on the beach? (the good thing about this is that there are plenty of guys to push it out when it gets stuck).... Of course I counted all the folks wearing life-jackets in your photo.... hope they can all swim.
ReplyDeleteSharon:
DeleteThe pedal boats stay in the swimming areas. Water is shallow forever and a day. They can walk to shore if they sink.
That video is the best one I have seen in an age
ReplyDeleteJohn:
DeleteThat video was sent to me more than 5 years ago. It still makes me laugh.
Lost in translation alright!! I'd be so lost!
ReplyDeleteJim:
DeleteBut it's so much fun being lost.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Hilarious! Thanks, Berlitz (and Mitchell ;)
ReplyDeleteJudeet:
DeleteThat Berlitz commercial was, I think, brilliant!
more please...too funny!!
ReplyDeleteRon:
DeleteHa! You asked for it!
Good lord. I had no idea you could cram so many people onto a pedal boat!
ReplyDeleteKnatolee:
DeleteNeither did I. I wonder if the guy rowing the boat nearby in the first photo smuggled extra passengers from his boat.
LOL. That's funny
ReplyDeletekisatrtle:
DeleteI though Berlitz was especially clever with that one.
I'm "sinking" that's a little bit of dark humor there. I'm wondering why all ships aren't made out of the same material as those pedal boats!
ReplyDeleteMs. Sparrow:
DeleteSo, maybe they should have used fiberglass for the entire Titanic and then I wouldn't have had to sit through that entire movie!
Hey Mitch, no sharks I hope. Looks nice and cool. Take a life jacket..
ReplyDeleteHave a great Summer, Yvonne it is 60 degrees now for 3 days and rain.
The Sun will come back on the 4th of July..Have you see that
Snowden guy, the whistleblower? Thought he might go to Spain..
Yvonne:
DeleteWe've been in the 80s and sunny all the time, as you can probably tell. Rough life. No sharks! Although there are about 50 different types, I think, of sharks in the Mediterranean, it's very rare for them to be around here.
