Cat Lover: I must point out I'm not judging. I can just imagine what people might say about my choices. It's just that the combination really did take me by surprise.
anne marie: Clearly, there are plenty of people who love putting together these combinations. More power to them (and yet I can't let them pass unnoticed).
Stephen: Well, I don't think in-shape or out-of-shape has anything to do with it. These looks often take me by surprise, but then I'm grateful to the fashionistas for giving me inspiration.
mistress maddie: It's mostly Brits and Finns that dress like this here. I wonder what we'll see in London in February! Maybe a trip to Helsinki is in order.
When we see folks on the streets here dressed in bizarre combinations, I always tell Bill.... Mitchell should see THIS one! Only thing different here is that most folks have a lot less on...

Mitchell she looks funny
ReplyDeleteGosia:
DeleteAnd I don't think she MEANT to look funny.
Goodness gracious, I can't begin to think what to say to that photo!

Oh'' Mother !
ReplyDeleteHeron:
DeleteThat was I think her mother with her. She was all in gray and black.
What a wonderful distraction from Twitter. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteShawn:
DeleteMuch more style than his ass-holiness! I'm grateful to her for making me smile.
DA HELL?????

Yow.
ReplyDeleteJudy:
DeleteGive 'em the old razzle dazzle.
Maybe she was just taking a break from appearing in some theatrical performance? At least that's what I WANT to think.
ReplyDeleteRaybeard:
DeleteI wonder what kind of blouse she was wearing!
Those colors would look good on a painting, but they don't do much for this out of shape person.

Maybe she just got dressed in a hurry? I mean a REAL hurry!!
ReplyDeleteJim:
DeleteI don't have these things in my closet to even put together by accident. I'm actually thinking it looks like fun!
I think this is the wicked witch of the west from The Wiz.
ReplyDeleteSpo:
DeleteDid she carry a handbag?
Do they have mirrors over there?????? Good grief!

That is deeply terrible. Even so I do like her sneakers. ;)
ReplyDeleteSnoskred:
DeleteI hope it makes her happy!
She is not afraid of patterns. I like the Red shoes. I hope she had a great time.
ReplyDeleteTravel:
DeleteI love your reaction. She didn't LOOK very happy at that particular moment, but I hope she was... at least with her outfit.
Is there anything called pattern blindness? Because you can't write this off to colour blindness
ReplyDeleteCheapchick:
DeleteI wondered the same thing. But then I also wonder if we (and not she) simply suffer from limited style vision.
I've said it here before, i do love mixing patterns and fabrics, but even I draw the line here!
ReplyDeleteBob:
DeleteI wondered if this would be a step too far for you.

ReplyDeleteSharon:
DeleteI wish I knew what she had on for a blouse!
I rather like the leggings.
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteI'll keep an eye out for them in the shop windows.
I swear that brain damage is rampant.
