Phantom Birds / Los Pájaros Fantasmas

La versión español está después de la primera foto del pájaro fantasma.

I HAVEN'T BEEN doing much of interest or significance in recent days. We have coffee and sometimes pitufos in the morning. I go for walks. I do some exercise. I blog (and create a new blog on Wordpress). I do laundry. I eat. We go out for dinner a few nights... or more. I write to and phone The Kid Brother. I take care of some business and put off other business. I wash dishes. I watch the sunrise.

I watch the birds outside our windows and I watch the cats watch the birds outside our windows.

I cuddle with the cats... and even sometimes San Geraldo.

When I write it all, it doesn't sound that bad. But I'm due for something constructive and cultural.

NO HE ESTADO haciendo mucho de interés o importancia en los últimos días. Tomamos café ya veces pitufos por la mañana. Voy a caminar. Hago algo de ejercicio Yo "blog." Y crear un nuevo blog en Wordpress. Hago lavanderia. Yo como. Salimos a cenar unas noches ... o más. Escribo y llamo a The Kid Brother.

  1. Sounds like a good day for a museum stroll. Greetings from the Windy City, there is a great art museum just a block away.

    1. Travel,
I’m overdue for a day in Malaga visiting museums. Wish I had one next door! Have fun in the Windy City. What a great place!

  2. It all sounds nice and peaceful, but maybe a shake up would make it better? Try a different path ...

    1. Bob,
That’s what I’m thinking. I do regularly take different paths, too.

    1. Maddie,
And in winter, too. You get used to it... and take it for granted.

  4. Your photos range from the sublime (these) to the ridiculous (the "fashion" shoots) and they strike me as very constructive indeed. I look out of my window to find a flock of wild turkeys eating whatever can be found on my weed lawn. I think they discovered that we're the only people on the street who don't celebrate Thanksgiving! Found a juvenile one on top of Balder Half's work truck ready to go to a fire investigation with him! He then "chickened" out and jumped. Those things are better than t.v.! Unfortunately, I do well at taking pictures. I envy those of you with such a talent.

    2. Deedles,
I understood. That would be amazing to see wild turkeys right in your backyard.

  5. I too was thinking of what my typical day is like recently. It seems a little tame and boring at times, but then something out of the ordinary comes up (good or bad, wonderful or depressing) to shake up life. A palm tree with phantom birds in the sunrise can't be a bad start to any day.

    1. Wilma,
My typical day is pretty special even when I don’t appreciate how special it is. I have a feeling yours is the same.

SunRISE. The sun sets over the mountains behind us. It can also be beautiful.
