Mayday! We Are Sinking!

Here I had been worried about over-burdening one of those pedal/slide boats. From what I just saw on the water, I don't think San Geraldo and I have anything to worry about. Those boats just might be unsinkable. But, just in case, I'm considering learning how to say "We are sinking!" in a variety of languages. I think it's "¡Nos estamos hundiendo!" in Spanish

I COUNTED NINE. THEIR COMBINED WEIGHT HAS GOT TO BE MORE THAN OURS.
RIDING LOW IN THE REAR, BUT STILL AFLOAT.
A REGATTA.
AN UNEXPECTED IMAGE OF A UFO (LOWER LEFT).
(I WONDER IF THEY, TOO, HAVE TO REGISTER AS ALIENS.)

  3. Kind of reminds me of Mexico... how many people can ride in a truck driving on the beach? (the good thing about this is that there are plenty of guys to push it out when it gets stuck).... Of course I counted all the folks wearing life-jackets in your photo.... hope they can all swim.

The pedal boats stay in the swimming areas. Water is shallow forever and a day. They can walk to shore if they sink.

  7. Good lord. I had no idea you could cram so many people onto a pedal boat!

Neither did I. I wonder if the guy rowing the boat nearby in the first photo smuggled extra passengers from his boat.

I though Berlitz was especially clever with that one.

  9. I'm "sinking" that's a little bit of dark humor there. I'm wondering why all ships aren't made out of the same material as those pedal boats!

So, maybe they should have used fiberglass for the entire Titanic and then I wouldn't have had to sit through that entire movie!

We've been in the 80s and sunny all the time, as you can probably tell. Rough life. No sharks! Although there are about 50 different types, I think, of sharks in the Mediterranean, it's very rare for them to be around here.
