AT PLAZA MAYOR. |
I can't show you photos of San Geraldo modeling the latest royal fashions. But, I can show you some of his acquisitions. I didn't come home empty handed.... er... footed, either. Papa got a new pair of shoes.
THE BOTTOM PAIR ARE WHAT HE'S BEEN DRAGGING AROUND IN. (ALL THAT EXTRA DENIM GETS PULLED AROUND BACK AND HIDDEN UNDER HIS BIG SHIRTS.) |
FOUR NEW POLOS, TOO. HE'LL HAVE TO SAY GOOD-BYE TO THAT PURPLE ONE. |
LINDA AND I WENT SHOPPING IN TOWN SATURDAY AND I BOUGHT HIM SOME T-SHIRTS. THE OLD BROWN T-SHIRT MAKES A GREAT PAJAMA TOP... OR BLANKET. |
MY NEW SHOES: I THOUGHT I'D GET SOMETHING UNDERSTATED... ... TO MATCH THE LIVING ROOM WALLS. |
Below is what I sang in my head as we went shopping with San Geraldo.
(I sound exactly like Earl Thomas... in my head.)
Get down! Good to hear that SG didn't have to wait till the next NYC visit......Lee Jeans, boot cut, were my favourite for years!! The only ones that fit skinny me at the time!
ReplyDeleteLook at that difference in shirt size! Great dusters/pj's.
Now those runners/shoes....very European I must say! They look very comfortable and light weight. And to think I do need a new pair myself......hm-m-m. thanks for the idea you 'trend-setter'!
Jim:
DeleteI've never in my life owned a pair of Lee Jeans. I may have to try them.
My favorite shoes in that style are usually made by Puma. There's actually a particular pair I want, but I haven't yet found them in my size (except online).
When we met SG last year I really didn't think he was that big... but those shirts (and pants) must have been falling off of him in the last few weeks! Love your new shoes.... maybe it's time I got some ;-)
ReplyDeleteSharon:
DeleteYes, SG's clothes have been falling off him. It's good to see the change!
The T-shirts show the change the most.
ReplyDeleteSusie:
DeleteThey sure do. The others are not just wide, but they hang down to mid-thigh!
You guys will look terrific in your new duds.
ReplyDeleteStephen:
DeleteAw, thanks. San Geraldo does. Well... my feet looked terrific last night in my new shoes.
Ditto what Stephen said!
ReplyDeleteAnd... wow! Who is this Earl Thomas! Oooh là là! Great moves, great voice.
Judy:
DeleteThanks. And, yes, I could watch Earl Thomas get into gear any time (and sing, too).
what sort of undergarments do the Spanish men wear nowadays?
ReplyDeleteSpo:
DeleteAll sorts I suppose... (And that's not the sweets... well, on second thought.) I love my "Equipo," but I remember that you didn't like yours.
I would like mine if I lost 15lb.
DeleteSpo:
DeleteAnother plus: I've always been told if you lose weight your "equipo" will look bigger.
I think San Geraldo will be able to spot you a mile away in those new shoes!
ReplyDeleteBob:
DeleteObviously, the purple is reflective. The yellow GLOWS in the dark!
Wow, you did a great shopping.
ReplyDeleteGosia:
DeleteThanks. It takes talent! (Not really.) And thanks for visiting. I look forward to reading your blog.
those shoes are bright need sunglasses to look at them.
ReplyDeleteLaurent:
DeleteAnd you should see them at night!
Those clothes could have been Bing's. She lives in polo shirts and jeans. But..the shoes. OH, the shoes. They are MINE.
ReplyDeleteMaria:
DeleteNext on my list: Sexy black, red, and silver Pumas. They don't have my size in the stores I've checked. So I'm going to order them online. Should I order two pairs?
