EVERY PICTURE TELLS a story (don't it)...
CADA FOTO CUENTA una historia (verdad)...
AT LOS BOLICHES BEACH ACROSS THE STREET. EN LA PLAYA DE LOS BOLICHES AL OTRO LADO DE LA CALLE. |
"Make the best out of the bad, just laugh it off..."
"Hacer el mejor fuera de los justos malos..."
hmmmmmm, my mind went off to several nasty places...and I just woke up! coffee stat!

DeleteThis guy was a regular fixture at the beach last year before I left for NY. Elena and I would see him daily, and always in this same pose. I snapped the shot to share with her only to notice after how odd it was.
Nice use of red. I could write a story or two.

DeleteCheck out last year: http://mitchellismoving.blogspot.com.es/2016/08/red-hotness.html
Goodness, too early in the morning for me to see that photo!
ReplyDeleteHave a good day Mitchell.

Robin:
DeleteI had snapped the photo as a joke for our friend Elena. This guy seems to have this one pose. After the fact, I spotted the head!
Looks like it'll have a "happy ending."
ReplyDeleteBob:
DeleteIt looks kind of like a "big" finish to me.
She's thinking "Good God, would you get that thing out of my face!"
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteAh, perspective.
Buns of metal
ReplyDeleteJohn:
DeleteSome kind of alloy.
I can't imagine what you found compelling in that picture. Ha!
ReplyDeleteStephen:
DeleteIt was meant as a joke for our friend Elena. He's a regular and always takes that pose. The head in the sand (on the sand?) was a surprise when I downloaded the photos.
The 'protector'! Or....a natural sun-blocker!!
ReplyDeleteJim:
DeleteI hadn't thought of it as sun block. Great idea.
oh my goodness
ReplyDeleteI would think the conservative Catholic country of Spain would not permit such.
Spo:
DeleteI would definitely not describe Spain as a conservative Catholic country. Much more liberal and enlightened than the United States. And that head in the sand was probably topless... Uh... bottomless?
Now how did that transition happen I wonder? This gives me hope. If Franco/fascism and go to what I see in your blog than there is hope here.
DeleteSpo:
DeleteInteresting story. One very well-written book helps explain it: "The New Spaniards" by John Hopper.
Avert your eyes, young man!
ReplyDeleteRon:
DeleteSo, I shouldn't look down at the sand?
Do they allow this sort of activity on your beach??? I'm shocked... shocked I tells ya!
ReplyDeleteWillym:
DeleteI'm shocked, too!
