LOL! I love the pictures! Your little ones are so photogenic. Hope your leg/foot heals up soon, so you can enjoy paradise even more.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of paradise, I just returned from a 12-day trip to Scotland. Now, that is MY idea of paradise. My friend and I saw Edinburgh, toured the Highlands and the Isle of Skye, and finally Glasgow. Such a fantastic trip! Can't wait to go back. Next time for a month.
Jo:
DeleteOooooh, Scotland. I've never been there. My sister met her husband in Edinburgh 40 years ago! She loved the city. I bet you had a ball with the tartans!
Isn't it amazing how well our cats have us trained? Ours could always take the best chair or the middle of the bed and neither one of us would even think of "asking" them to move.
ReplyDeleteSharon:
DeleteAnd we must be very clever; we learn so quickly. I do, sometimes, make Dudo and Moose move over in bed.
Life is good for those boys and it shows.
ReplyDeleteElaine:
DeleteThey are more content every day. They've been with us a year now. It's a love fest.
He means business.
ReplyDeleteI know, I've gotten that look from our feline kids!
Bob:
DeleteIt's amazing how expressive their faces can be. One look says it all.
You can almost smell the sun and the sea..sigh
ReplyDeleteJohn:
DeleteSorry I can't do scratch n sniff posts.
Good to see who's the real boss around there!! lol
ReplyDeleteLove the Photos of Dudo Mitch!
Now watch where you're going, will ya!
Jim:
DeleteYep, Dudo and Moose are definitely in charge.
Mine sits in my chair, be it at the computer or the dining table and with the sweetest little look set in cast iron unquestionably conveys,
ReplyDelete"Don't even hope for or think about it."
Will:
DeleteSame here... although I don't know that I'd call that look "sweet."
I want to live where I won't freeze in the winter...Spain would be good. So would a Greek island. The south of France mayhap?
ReplyDeleteYour furry bebes are a delight and have taught you well. I, on the other hand, am evil; as much as I love mine I'll still look at them sternly and proclaim (in a Mom voice of course) "I have a spray bottle and I know how to use it!" Lately, however, they've begun licking my toes in revenge. EW!
Jacquelineand....
DeleteSouthern Spain, definitely... but not in the mountains.
We've got a spray bottle, too. That's how we're training them to not visit the neighbor's terrace. It also worked to teach them to come inside when we tell them. Now they do so without the presence of the spray bottle. So, I guess we're a little evil, too!
Well, now, Mitchell, you had me chuckling out loud all along the length of the blog today (except, of course, at hearing about your bruises and swelling! Yikes!) Thanks! I love those kitties!
ReplyDeleteJudeet:
DeleteI am more in love with these cats very day. And thanks for not laughing at my latest bruises!
When are you holding auditions for your next pet? I'm working on my purring.
ReplyDeleteStephen:
DeleteOur pets have always had it good!
Oh yes, life in Paradise can be tough!
ReplyDeleteJudith:
DeleteBut, somehow, I cope.
He makes damn sure you know your place - sores notwithstanding, or, in your case, not sitting.
ReplyDeleteFor what good it'll do, I sympathise with your aches and pains, as I'm experiencing similarly painful locomotions. But with your comparative youth it's even less fair for you.
Raybeard:
DeleteComparative youth? You're not far ahead of me. But, this has nothing to do with age (I think); I have always bruised easily for some reason (must be the royal blood... son of the duchess, you know). And I tend to walk into things. A bad combination.
He's very much at home, isn't he? Mind you, what's not to like. Smart chap. Glad that you're bruising and pain are easing.
ReplyDeleteCraig:
DeleteThe cats have definitely settled into life with us. We're so grateful we brought them home.
Thanks regarding my bruising. Doing a lot better. So today I rammed my ankle!
It's a cat's life - oh! the work.
