I WAS LYING in bed early Tuesday morning thinking about the fact that I had a cold, and that every time I coughed (or blew my nose) the jolting pain of my self-diagnosed sciatica was back. San Geraldo, who's been coughing and miserable since Saturday, had been awake for a while. He said quietly, not realizing I was already awake, "I'm sorry to wake you, but it's worth getting up for this sunrise." It was a much better topic for starting the day.
Oh wow, nice shots

DeleteThanks. Our view from our terrace offers us these gifts all the time.
Beautiful! I like be sunrises here. It’s like a free show every morning that I can watch in my robe while drinking coffee. Hope you both feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteWow.......now that is stunning. What a Valentine's treat!

DeleteThe sunrises are breathtaking this time of year. It's hard to stay in bed.

DeleteSo glad he said something.
Truly sunrise in paradise! Happy Valentines Day to you both. AND the cats.
ReplyDeleteDebra:
DeleteWith us both being ill this week, the cats have been getting a lot more "us" time than usual. They are going to be so disappointed when we finally head out for a few hours again. Valentine's Day was all about them.
worth getting up for. Thanks for the photos so we could see it too! Hope you two feel better soon.

DeleteI was actually walking on the beach today. Briefly! But things are getting better. And another glorious sunrise.
Marvelous view. I wish I had something like that to wake up to every morning.
ReplyDeleteKirk:
DeleteI sometimes forget how lucky we are to have a view like this to enjoy. It's amazing.
Gorgeous! Happy Valentines Day to you both!
ReplyDeleteJennifer:

DeleteWhat a week! I finally went out for a short time today. Bumped into multiple neighbors. They had also all been ill this week and are just beginning to recover.
