The Dawn Of Another Day / La Amanecer De Otro Día

I WAS LYING in bed early Tuesday morning thinking about the fact that I had a cold, and that every time I coughed (or blew my nose) the jolting pain of my self-diagnosed sciatica was back. San Geraldo, who's been coughing and miserable since Saturday, had been awake for a while. He said quietly, not realizing I was already awake, "I'm sorry to wake you, but it's worth getting up for this sunrise." It was a much better topic for starting the day.

With us both being ill this week, the cats have been getting a lot more "us" time than usual. They are going to be so disappointed when we finally head out for a few hours again. Valentine's Day was all about them.

I was actually walking on the beach today. Briefly! But things are getting better. And another glorious sunrise.

What a week! I finally went out for a short time today. Bumped into multiple neighbors. They had also all been ill this week and are just beginning to recover.
