Jim: This was not a seriously one. Some of them are. This was simply playful, brief, and followed by that sweet nap in the sun (for Dudo) and out of the sun (for Moose)
Adam: For these guys, it's mostly play -- although they sometimes get jealous. Cats can be territorial or fight for social standing. Some, like people, are simply bullies.
Ray: Nope, this is the time to leave them to themselves. They come to us when they want tummy tickles... or anything else (treat, food, open the door, open the window, let me out in the hall, show me what you're doing, give me a lap, I want your chair, turn on the heat, fluff the comforter, make the bed, throw my toys, fetch my toys, clean my eyes, clean my nose, kiss me). YOU certainly know the drill!

and yet not a hair out of place!
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteA fun rumble. They sometimes end with tufts of hair missing.
That's the most docile cat rumble have ever seen.
ReplyDeletemistress maddie:
DeleteThey can do some damage. This was a very sweet one.
Ha! Tired but their dukes are still up. They look so soft.
ReplyDeleteDeedles:
DeleteThey have really silky coats.
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! I second wilma!
ReplyDeleteanne marie:
DeleteAnd a relief. Sometimes we feel compelled to separate them.
More like a royal tumble.
ReplyDeleteKirk:
DeleteThey DO rumble. But you're right about this one.
I guess that rumble was tie. There was no winner announced. Now it's time for a nap in the sunlight. Thanks for sharing the photos.

DeleteThanks for visiting and enjoying the photos. Unlike some of their other rumbles, this one was gentle and brief.
Your welcome and thank you for the reply back. Good thing the rumble was a gentle one. Have a great day
DeleteAnd yet they still look beautiful !
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
Parsnip:
DeleteThey just can't help themselves.
How old are they now? They still look like young playful kittens
ReplyDeleteCheapchick:
DeleteI've commented to Jerry on how active and playful they are for their age. I can't believe they'll be 8 in July!
Cats! Gotta love 'em!
ReplyDeleteDebra:
DeleteYep, you do. They demand it.
It appears it was good for both of them.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Mitchell.
Robyn:

DeleteI'm so grateful to have the time to spend with them. They're a couple of sweethearts with very different personalities.
So of course I heard the iconic voice from boxing in my head saying, "LET'S GET READY TO RRRRRRRRUUUUUMMMMMMMBLE!
ReplyDeleteHa!
Jennifer:
DeleteI tried not to, but I couldn't help myself.
I saw two cats fighting once in the middle of the road. Makes me wonder what makes them want to do that.

Tummy-tickle time.

When you're a cat, you're a cat all the way, from your first little spat 'till you're last purrin' day.
ReplyDeleteWalt the Fourth:
DeleteAs usual, we're on the same wave length. I almost included that video!
I love your Moose and Dudo. :)
ReplyDeleteSnoskred:
DeleteSo do I. So do I.
Such cute kitties.
ReplyDeleteTravel:
DeleteI adore these guys and can't believe they'll be 8 this summer.
The winner and still champion - ah who cares it was fun!
ReplyDeleteWillym:
DeleteSo glad they had a good time and didn't do any damage. I have found tufts of hair at times ... and the holes in their coats to match.
