Let's Have Another Cup Of Coffee And / Tomemos Otra Taza De Café Y

La version español está después de la versión inglés.

I FORGOT TO tell you how my day (birthday) began. San Geraldo and I went across the street to our normal spot on the beach for coffee, Chiringuito Juan Playa. The light of our lives, Jessica, arrived a while later with a tray of pastries. One apple tart and a chocolate are already missing from the below photo. We ate about half the contents with our coffee. The rest we devoured after lunch.

Yesterday I walked another 8km (5 miles) and I'll be walking a lot more today!

I also forgot to tell you I've been "cooking" for myself lately because on one recent morning, San Geraldo did not meet my rigorous standards. Still, I am only "cooking" one thing.

RECENTLY "COOKED" BY ME. PERFECT!
"COCINADO" POR MÍ RECIENTEMENTE. ¡PERFECTO!
RECENTLY "COOKED" BY SAN GERALDO. A MESS!
"COCINADO" POR SAN GERALDO RECIENTEMENTE. ¡UN DESASTRE!

  5. It would take a lot to reach five miles on my daily walks, but then I don't have the magnificent scenery to walk in that you have.

Easy to do here. The paseo runs for miles along the beach. 5 minutes miles is my short walk. Wonderful.

  6. Iced coffee is one of my favorites. Not sure there are enough hours in the day for me to walk off those pastries, but I doubt I would let that stop me from eating them. Great way to start your birthday.

Pastries have been walked off but I'm still trying to walk off all I ate in Norway!

  7. Iced coffee is my drug of choice. It's the one thing I just can't give up. But it's also a gateway drug to other bad things, because who doesn't love a good pastry with their iced coffee?

This post just made me want to 'cook' myself another glass. Ah, the struggles of addiction.

On my second cup right now. No pastries. Where is Jessica?

    2. She's busy bringing me a fresh iced coffee and a plate full of pastries, saving me the trouble of having to do it myself.

Don't ruin this for me. A guy can dream.

Jessica's a sweetheart, isn't she? She didn't bring me coffee, however. The waiter did and then I had to cook it myself, but I know Jessica would have done it for me if I had asked. Make sure you get her back here by Friday morning!

  8. That is a lot of pastries. And a lot of intense editing - I haven't seen that much red ink in a long time.
