More Kids / Más Niños

While in Bergen, we were fortunate to be able to spend time with Cousins Andreas and Anette and their wonderful kids (as in children this time, not baby goats — although, admittedly, it's sometimes difficult to tell the difference). (Click here for the earlier "kids" post.)

Mientras que en Bergen, tuvimos la suerte de poder pasar tiempo con Primos Andreas y Anette y los niños maravillosos (como en "los hijos" esta vez, no cabritos — aunque, es cierto, a veces es difícil saber la diferencia). (Haz clic aquí si no entiendes.)

TRADITIONAL NORWEGIAN NATIONAL DAY PORTRAIT.
RETRATO TRADICIONAL DEL DIA NACIONAL DE NORUEGA.
SOUND ASLEEP FOR THE FIRST 10 MINUTES OF OUR RIDE TOGETHER.
PROFUNDAMENTE DORMIDO DURANTE LOS PRIMEROS 10 MINUTOS DE NUESTRO PASO JUNTOS.
"WHERE DID YOU COME FROM?!?"
¿¡¿DE DONDE VIENES?!?
AND BACK HOME: MOOSE... AND DUDO BELOW.
Y DE VUELTA A CASA: MOOSE... Y DUDO ABAJO.
THE KIDS HERE ARE VERY HAPPY, TOO.
LOS NIÑOS AQUÍ ESTAN MUY FELICES, TAMBIÉN.

  2. That second photo is how I prefer children.
Those last two, though, are the best ever!

Oh, I'm a soft touch for kids. Just one look and I melt. These kids were wonderful. But I DO love my own two kids!

Andreas and Anette's kids are the sweetest... and they would terrorize Dudo and Moose.

After managing to get the two younger ones dressed for National Day, her parents gave up on traditional for her and opted for easy and comfortable.

As if I even took a moment to wonder. I thought of you when I posted that first photo.

I forgot to credit Andreas with that first photo. He emailed it to me that day and I immediately asked if I could use it. I wish we lived closer!

I love kids, but this group definitely required help from the parents. The two oldest are just learning English and the youngest... well... nursing!

Moose and Dudo don't let us out of their sight. I wish the other three (and their parents) lived closer!

  10. Now that is a WTF look if I have ever seen it!!!! And I don't mean the cats - those are looks of "you left us! you will pay!"

I was worried what she might do (like cry) when she woke up and saw me. I got that look and we then became best friends. The cats were so happy to see us and will hardly let us out of their sight. We feel loved.

Our friend Pedro said the same thing and I was so dense I hadn't even made the connection.
