I LOOKED UP from my morning coffee on a recent day to see a parasail in the distance. At first glance the "boat" pulling it looked to me to be a bit excessive. But then I looked again.
MIRÉ DESDE MI café un día reciente para ver un parasail en la distancia. A primera vista el "barco" que tirando me parecía un poco de exceso. Pero entonces miré de nuevo.
And tomorrow the Captain wants to go water skiing.

DeleteTalk about a drag!
LOL!
ReplyDeleteA question.....what is the daytime temperature there for August?
Jim:
DeleteAverage day temps are around 30 and average nights are 20. A cool day today; currently 24.
You could really get some height with the big boat! Ship?
ReplyDeleteBob:
DeleteIf it could ever get up to speed. More likely you'd never get out of the boat.
Serious overkill.
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteBut size isn't everything. That could never get going fast enough to get lift off.
imagine how it would of been if it really was that other boat
ReplyDeleteAdam:
DeleteMajor news!
bwhahahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteanne marie:
DeleteThe first photo is even more clear than my initial vision. What a double-take.
Now that would have been a great sight to see a ship of that size doing what 45 knots instead of about 12.
ReplyDeleteHeron:
DeleteIt sure would have.
Sipping some martinis again are you!?!
ReplyDeleteRon:
DeleteDon't I wish!?! But I did have a mojito last night.
It does look like it's being pulled by that tanker.
ReplyDeleteStephen:
DeleteI really did have to do a double-take. I knew it was possible, but my vision was much more limited than the photo.
