FASHIONISTAS, HERE'S MORE on the shorts of summer. This late in the season, the trend is RED. But, still, don't be afraid to make the red your own.

While writing this post I at first thought the Spanish word for "fashionista" would be "fashionista," since it already sounds so Spanish. It turns out that, although many Spaniards do use the word, many more are unfamiliar with it. So I did some research and found the correct terms (like seguidor de la moda). But I also asked our friend Jessica what she would say. She explained, as I had already learned, that "fashionista" is used by some people. She then gave me true Spanish alternatives. And then she said with a laugh, "We call them 'influencers' now." So, check out these influencers below.

Al escribir esta entrada al principio pensé que la palabra española para "fashionista" (que no es realmente inglés) sería "fashionista." Hice algunas investigaciones y encontré las frases correctas (como "seguidor de la moda"). Pero también pregunté a nuestra amiga Jessica qué diría. Ella explicó lo que ya había aprendido, que "fashionista" es utilizado solo por algunas personas. Luego me dio alternativas españolas. Y luego dijo con una risa, "Los llamamos 'influencers' ahora. Por lo tanto, echa un vistazo a estos "influencers" a continuación.
