Habitual Grump / Gruñón Habitual

I HARUMPHED LOUDLY.

San Geraldo looked up from his writing and asked, "What"?

"There's an error again in one of these online crossword puzzles."

"What did they do this time?"

"Well, the clue is HABITUAL GRUMP and they only give space for four letters. Your name won't fit."

Tu nombre no encajará".

He had no clue what I was even talking about. No wonder I've lived this long.

Sometimes, they really do screw up. They'll have the answer in the clue line. They'll have something blatantly incorrect as an answer.

  7. I wouldn't fool with him Mitchell. San Geradlo looks like he may or may not have mob connections.

He's a pussycat. (Besides, he usually doesn't even realize I'm teasing him.)

  8. I first read this as I humped loudly. That would have been a excellent spanish phrase to learn.

Maybe, 'Follé fuerte' or something like that. Try it out on some Spanish-speaking friends (really good friends) and see what kind of response you get.

    Hey what's with the fleece?
It's 6 below Celsius here and that is what I am wearing!

What do you mean, "what's with the fleece"? It was 6 below Celsius here, too. Oh, wait, it was 6 below 20 Celsius. So... 14. Still...

  10. Hopefully there was something at hand that could be thrown without too much damage being done.
