You move the meat, you lose the seat.

DUDO ON SAN GERALDO'S DESK CHAIR, WHICH HAD BEEN VACATED FOR ONE BRIEF MOMENT. HE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT HE'S DOING; JUST LOOK AT THAT SMILE. |
MOOSE NOW NEEDS HALF THE SOFA, ONE CUSHION, AND TWO PILLOWS. "I SURE HOPE YOU'RE NOT THINKING OF SITTING HERE!" |
I like it!
cats like those spots cause (a) they have been pre-warmed by humans, (b) they smell like the human that was just there, and (c) BECAUSE THEY CAN! mine do this all the time!
ReplyDeleteanne marie:
DeleteDudo actually bugs Jerry to get out of his chair so he can sit down. And Jerry does!
Well, that is a steadfast rule in CatLand.
ReplyDeleteBob:
DeleteLast night, I watched Moose jump onto the club chair and push the embroidered throw pillow onto the floor before settling in.
Your two are very sweet. Our Sam, who looked very much like Dudo, loved to lay just like Moose is in your second photo. She was rather a big girl so the top of the cushion was smushed down. I noticed the other day the cushion has sprung back up. That kinda made me sad.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the photos of your kitties.
Cat Lover:
DeleteMoose, in Sam's honor, smushes the cushion down, too. He's not called Moose for nothing!
That's it! I AM coming back as a cat!!
ReplyDeleteJim:
DeleteIf I could guarantee I'd be a cat in a loving home, I'd come back as a cat, too.
Moose sure knows how to get the most out of a sofa!
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteThat was a new pose. Usually he just sprawls across the back. There's no predicting what he'll do next.
So.....what's it like being the servants of two cats? Even they they are adorable!!!!!! I've wanted to ask, are they from the same litter?
ReplyDeletemistress maddie:
DeleteThey are brothers and litter mates. And Moose and Dudo have told me to tell you that it is an honor and a privilege to serve them.
D & M are only claiming what is theirs BY RIGHT. Woe betide anyone who dares challenge that (as well I know!).
ReplyDeleteRay:
DeleteSo good to see you! Dudo actually makes Jerry get out of his chair so he can sit down! He sits and quietly mews until Jerry gets up. I wouldn't do it!
Am loving that wall colour
ReplyDeleteJohn:
DeleteI'm really happy with the color, but 3+ years of sun have taken their toll. I was about to give it another coat when I discovered that we don't have enough paint for the entire wall. Maybe I'll just hang more pictures!
Oh those crazy cats! What would we do without them!?
ReplyDeleteSpo:
DeleteLife would be much less sweet.
Few creatures are capable of looking as relaxed as cats.
ReplyDeleteStephen:
DeleteSo true. And we're amazed at how our cats know when it's us coming into the room. They don't even stir. If a stranger walks silently into the room, they are all ears, eyes, and panic.
