Which Was Not A Healthy Situation

My trip to the dentist Tuesday afternoon was a breeze — a much more gentle breeze than what blew off the sea all day; some of the wildest winds we've had. High surf this morning and still dramatic winds, although easing up.

I'll also ease up on the dramatics about my future dental appointments. Here's some drama of a different color.

I was a bit concerned last week when I saw what had been dropped off at the as-yet-unopened First Aid Station. (Click the images for a more thorough diagnosis.)

I SURE HOPE IT WASN'T AN EMERGENCY.
AND THIS WEEK ON THE BEACH OUTSIDE A LOCKED TOILET.
A WHILE LATER. SHOULD I BE WORRIED?
MY VIEW (IN MY HEAD) ON MY LAST PASS ... VAGUELY FAMILIAR.

And oh what happened then was rich...

  1. Little can compare to dancing Munchkins; thank you for that alone.

This song always makes me happy. I listened to it in its entirety twice while posting.

  2. The wind began to whip, the house to twitch! One of my favorite movies. I wrote a hilarious essay in college using the Wizard of Oz as an example of the struggle of emotion and logic.

Of course one of my all-time favorites, too.

  3. I would be very tempted to go and tickle those feet - just to see the reaction of course :-)

I'd be very tempted to photograph you doing that!

  4. Very funny Mitchell. Your last photo is the best! I haven't watched The Wizard of Oz in probably 30 years.

  5. Sadly, you arrived after the ruby slippers had been taken.
I imagine you could have rocked those pumps!

I wonder if they'd fit any foot that steps into them.

Don't know which pain is worse! My first visit/cleaning were pain- and cost-free! The insurance company sent a coupon. Amazing.

It was the first thing that came to mind when I saw those legs and socks.

  8. Awesome pictures and hilarious related video. Maybe that person just wants to sun tan the little tiny ring around their ankle (and nothing else)?

So nice of you to visit. Thanks! I used to wait every year for it. Then came VHS! And now that you can watch anything whenever you want, it doesn't have the same excitement. But I never tire of some of the songs.
