Dudo's brother, Moose, is another adored and adoring member of our family. Although Moose and Dudo love us both and we feel the same way about them, Dudo is clearly my best buddy and Moose is San Geraldo's. As you may have noticed, Dudo loves the camera. Moose wants constant attention but would like to kill the camera.
DUDO: "WHAT KIND OF POSE IS THAT? LOOK AT THE CAMERA!" DUDO: "¿HOMBRE, QUÉ TIPO DE POSE ES ESO? ¡MIRA LA CÁMARA!" |
MOOSE:"NO, I WILL NOT LOOK AT THE CAMERA! ¡JUST OPEN THE DOOR!" MOOSE: "¡NO, NO MIRARÉ LA CÁMARA"! ¡ABRA LA PUERTA!" |
OH MY GOD! AGAIN WITH THE CAMERA?" "¡DIOS MÍO! ¿DE NUEVO CON LA CÁMARA?" |
He's covering his head because you are taking another shot of his privates, perhaps he thinks you are trying to sell them on the cat black market (versus the black cat market)
ReplyDeleteCheapchick:
DeleteHe wishes! He's missing most of his privates! I love the idea of the cat black market (versus the black cat market).
Both your boys are so handsome Mitchell. I grew up with two Siamese cats and they definitely had their favourites too.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day.
Robin
Robin:
DeleteThey are both so loving and so sweet. We are all very lucky.
Mi abuelo tan enamorado con gatos negro y blanco. Todos sus gatos tienen la piel negro y blanco.
ReplyDeleteHe would have loved your two!
Moose is a good looking boy.
Jennifer:
DeleteIt warms my heart to think of your grandfather with black & white cats. I simply went online to animal shelter, saw a video of these two as kittens, and fell in love. They were already 10 months old when we got them, and I think given that black & whites are common, they might have been without a home for a very long time if not forever. So lucky to have them.
I would LOVE to rub that belleh!
ReplyDeleteanne marie:
DeleteHe loves it to be rubbed... until he doesn't... but then he does again.
arrrrgggghhh it just makes me ache to have a kitttttyyy!
ReplyDeleteJudy:
DeleteSo?!? (I'm no help, am I?!?)
Good thing they have each found their favourite!
ReplyDeleteHow fortunate you four are!
Jim:
DeleteAnd even better that they adore us both, too. You're so right. How fortunate we four are.
It's a good thing your fur friends aren't charging modelling fees. You might consider having them sign releases so you can't be sued.
ReplyDeleteStephen:
DeleteMoose would never sue (he's too good-natured). Dudo on the other hand can be a bit bossy.
Moose is as cute as his brother!
ReplyDeleteDebra:
DeleteThey are both so sweet and so different.
You should tell Moose and Dudo that if they weren't so adorable, you might not "hound" them so much. One of my (now deceased) cats used to run toward the sound of the autofocus and the other would run away from it! Both behaviors made photos difficult unless I zoomed from afar.
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteDudo has no problem with the camera and I think actually likes it. Moose can be so aggravating.
happy and cheerful cats
ReplyDeleteGosia:
DeleteBlissful.
Oy, the punum on THAT cat! Loves it!
ReplyDeleteBob:
DeleteI may have mentioned this before but, just in case, I adore them!
You cats are so damn beautiful. I love that they match each other.
ReplyDeletemistress maddie:
DeleteOn closer inspection, their markings are very distinct. But on first glance, you think they match -- except for the difference in weight. Moose's name is apt.
Like W.Q. above, when one of my brood gets like M in final pic, I just can't resist giving him a tickle-tickle-tickle. I've got claw and nip scars all over the back of my right hand as evidence.
ReplyDeleteRay:
DeleteWe're very lucky that neither cat bares his claws to us or nips. I discouraged it when they were younger and we were lucky they learned really well. Dudo has punching matches with me, which is hilarious. I wish I could get a video of one of those, but then I'd have to fight back with only one hand.
Still for all the camera shyness a handsome boy. I think he's just being a divo!
ReplyDeleteNicky and Nora both hate the camera - that damn pointy, clicky, flashy thing!
Willym:
DeleteI don't think Moose much likes the little flicker of light he says while I focus. Dudo sees it and knows it's time to pose.
Oh those crazy cats!
ReplyDeleteSpo:
DeleteCrazy like a fox!
