WE ARE IN Brooklyn and have spent every day with the Kid Brother. Our first day, we had business to do, so we did it together after going out for breakfast. San Geraldo and I both had major jet lag. I tried to use the Kid Brother as a pillow. You can see below how he felt about that.

San Geraldo y yo teníamos un jet lag horrible. Traté de usar el Kid Brother como una almohada. Tú puedes ver abajo cómo él se sentía sobre eso.
Solo tienes que llamarme, Hermanito...
Ahh! So nice to see your two smiling faces together in the same photo!

DeleteWe're a comedy duo. He's the straight man (of course), but he can't keep a straight face!
Oh Mitchell, so lovely to see the two of you together! Have a wonderful time!

Robin:
DeleteHe filled my heart with joy.
You are both the cute one!
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteAw, thanks, but I think Aunt Sylvie was right! He has always been the cute one.
those are funny and cute photos of the two of you. Enjoy your visit.
ReplyDeleteLaurent:
DeleteIt was an exhausting visit filled with love.
I think he felt pretty okay about it all, ha. Family is everything. Greetings!
ReplyDeleteBlogoratti:
DeleteSometimes, family can be everything. For some, it can be a royal pain. Our time in New York was an example of "family is everything."
I'm so glad you're together! Those pictures of the two of you are beautiful. 💕
ReplyDeleteJennifer:
DeleteThey make me smile every time I look at them.
My mother said she got jet lag once, she was so "thrilled" about it. I've never flown so I have yet to experience it
ReplyDeleteAdam:
DeleteJet lag is the pits and it gets worse the older I get. We're still recovering. It usually takes us about a day for every time zone change. So, we should be back to semi-normal by Monday or Tuesday!
you picked a great week to come back!
ReplyDeleteanne marie:
DeleteWe were very lucky... although Chuck just told me it's only 76 today. That would have been better than 82. Picky. Picky. Picky.
I wish I had as good a relationship with my brother as you do with yours.
ReplyDeleteStephen:
DeleteI think it's more common to have challenging relations with siblings. But he's more like a son to me than a brother.
What nice pictures of you two - you might have been tired but it doesn't show
ReplyDeleteCheapchick:
DeleteI thought I looked surprisingly refreshed in that shot. I sure didn't feel that way. But I WAS happy.
You can tell just how happy he is to see you....he's glowing.
ReplyDeletemistress maddie:
DeleteThat's the truth. It warms my heart to see him smile like that.
Happy lads! The DD would love that picture and I'm sure she's seeing it.
ReplyDeleteBob:
DeleteYou're right.
The Kid Brother is coming around I can see it happening!
ReplyDeleteRon:
DeleteHe's doing exceptionally well. Was much more relaxed when we first arrived (more relaxed than I've ever seen him). Although he's happy with us there, his routine is thrown off and he became more stressed as time passed. It confirms that we've done the right thing to allow him his space.
You are a great Big Brother! MaggieB
ReplyDeleteMaggieB:
DeleteThank you! I've always tried to be a good big brother, but it took me years to appreciate that I truly do adore him.
Oh the things kid brothers have to put up with!! lol
ReplyDeleteHave a good stay, Mitch!
Jim:
DeleteI think the final photo was followed with, "A'right wise guy!"
A wonderful series of pictures... such love and caring from both of you...
ReplyDeleteWillym:
DeleteWe are both very fortunate, I think!
It looks like you are enjoying one anothers' company.
ReplyDeleteTravel:
DeleteIt was a very special visit.
Such a marvelous photo! I like it a lot.
ReplyDeleteSpo:
DeleteThanks. It makes me smile every time I look at it.
