I should do that someday, soon

DeleteI don't think you'll be disappointed. Can't believe it took me this long to do it.
Incredible photos Mitchell!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.

DeleteI wish the sky had been clearer.
Cool! It's just like being there, thanks!
ReplyDeleteDebra:
DeleteWouldn't it have been fun to have a blogger gathering on the bridge. What a mob!
Thanks for treating us to a stroll on this wonderful bridge. I'd like to do it in person someday.
ReplyDeleteStephen:
DeleteI lived there for so long and never did it until now. Glad I finally did.
great place to visit
ReplyDeleteGosia:
DeleteThe walk across the bridge did not disappoint.
Looks like you had a good day for it. For some reason I'm surprised that so many people were walking it.
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteI wish the sky had been more clear. Very overcast. The bridge gets mobbed with people most days. That was actually a light day. The right-hand lane is a bike path -- ignored by most pedestrians. Those poor bicyclists!
Crossed the Brooklyn Bridge when I was in Brooklyn for the Jane Austen Society of North America's Annual General Meeting in 2012. Have also walked across the Williamsburg Bridge with a friend who lives in W'burg (direct connection to Chinatown!). Thanks for the memories.
ReplyDeleteA. Marie:
DeleteWow. Next the Williamsburg Bridge. I've never even considered that!
That s always an amazing walk with stunning vista of the city. You got some great shots.

DeleteIf only the day had been less overcast. I'd love to do it again.
I hope to see the Big Apple one day
ReplyDeleteAdam:
DeleteIt is an amazing city. The views I shared are of just the southern tip.
Fantastic! I always enjoy your NYC photos. I hope you have some more to share!
ReplyDeleteWalt the Fourth:
DeleteOh, so many more to come. Thanks!
I can almost smell the petrol/(gas) fumes!
ReplyDeleteRay:
DeleteThat's not one of my memories from that day. I must have gotten used to it by then.
So much in our backyard we never take the time to see. We lived in Connecticut for a lifetime...only a few years ago we walked the greenway along the Hudson and I toured Central Park for the first time. Have seen, but never visited the Statue. So much in NYC I've never visited. And now we're in the dessert, so many miles away.

DeleteI've never walked the greenway along the Hudson, although I've been all around there. It is amazing the places we don't see nearby. You need to be a tourist.
