The Sun Also Rises / El Sol También Se Eleva

SOMEONE ONCE ASKED me in which direction the sun sets in Spain. For real.

Here are a couple of shots of the sun setting in the west from our vantage point in Fuengirola, which we see over the city and the mountains. Following those are two shots of the sun rising in the east over the Mediterranean Sea (actually in the southeast by the time it appeared directly in front of us). And followed by those is Dudo stalking the crag martins (and the drain hole).

ALGUIEN ME PREGUNTA una vez en qué dirección se pone el sol en España. De verdad.

Aquí hay un par de fotos de la puesta de sol en el oeste desde nuestro punto de vista en Fuengirola, que vemos sobre la ciudad y las montañas. A continuación hay dos fotos del amanecer en el este sobre el mar Mediterráneo (en realidad, en el sudeste en el momento en que apareció directamente frente a nosotros) y seguidas por Dudo acechando los pájaros (y el agujero de drenaje).






DUDO: shhh... they don't know I'm here.
DUDO: shhh... ellos no saben de que estoy aquí.

  5. The city looks so nice in the golden light of the evening sky. Dudo looks fab in any light, but I do especially like the backlight in the shot above.
