The Catwalk / La Pasarela

La versión español está después de la versión inglés.

SATURDAY, I TOOK a walk to the Port of Fuengirola and visited the local fishermen... well... fisher cats. Don't tell Dudo and Moose.

  1. Oh, so THIS is what Paradise looks like!
Are they all feral, I wonder. Top one looks like he could do with a good scrubbing in the bath.

Yes, feral, but spayed and neutered and they may even have had their shots. And they are obviously well-fed by the fishermen.

  3. The first cat looks exactly like my Mom's rescue cat (came from animal hoarders place). None are skinny, I bet the fishermen feed them regularly

  4. No wonder Dudo and Moose want to get out---to enjoy at the kitty-cat fun outside.

He does. I wonder if its simply his coloring that gives him that look.

The first one was striking. And he had the look of a tough guy.

Yes, feral cats, but clearly living in the right spot. All well-fed. And with clipped ears, which indicates spayed or neutered. THAT was great to see.

  9. As always, fabulous photos! Loved the cats. One looked like a smaller version of my Maine Coon, Gunnar! Think of you guys frequently! Diane in Santa Rosa

  10. My heart always goes out to feral cats, but I guess they can take care of themselves.

    1. Mine too. These at least are well fed and spayed/neutered. But we have a niece who would take them all home.
