iPhone XXX

SAN GERALDO CONTINUES to mutter and curse about his new iPhone. He knows how to initiate and answer calls. And he's getting a bit more comfortable with the settings. But sometimes... well... we were at Mesón Salvador the other night and he was entertaining our friends there with his difficulties. David decided to help him connect with Siri, which I thought was a very bad idea. Adrián decided to offer general assistance and even came up with his own over-sized iPhone design for San Geraldo's big hands. He called it the iPhone XXX.

FIRST, ALEJANDRO TOOK THE PHONE AND DEMONSTRATED HOW TO TAKE A SELFIE.
PRIMERO, ALEJANDRO TOMÓ EL MÓVIL Y MOSTRÓ CÓMO HACER UN SELFIE.
DAVID GOT HIM STARTED WITH SIRI. HER FIRST RESPONSE? "I DON'T UNDERSTAND."
DAVID LO HIZO COMENZAR A TRABAJAR CON SIRI. ¿LA PRIMERA RESPUESTA DE ELLA? "NO ENTIENDO."

Most work 6 days a week. And they always seem happy to be there. An incredible place and team.

So glad to hear it. Dudo is back on the blog today (although he's been at the drain every day).

  6. Hahahahaha, the iPhone XXX is brilliant! With my hated iPad, I use one of those little balloon-tipped styluses to poke at the screen (especially useful when typing) -- would one of those work with an iPhone too? In theory, I don't see why not. It could be the solution to San Geraldo's big paws!

It would work great for Jerry. However, then he'd have to keep track of the balloon-tipped stylus!

He tried to find her yesterday and had no luck. I guess we'll have to head back to Mesón Salvador.

We are a Mac household; so I prefer having the iPhone. Have had Androids since coming to Spain, so this is my return to a totally Apple world. I'm happy.

But you're so much more polite about it. Interestingly, Jerry oversaw academic information technology during his career. But he didn't have to use a mobile phone.

That's my feeling. Although I have an old friend (human) named Siri I haven't spoken to for a while and she was never a nuisance.
