DUDO STILL WATCHING THE BIRDS. SIMPLY FOR THE JOY OF "DOING." DUDO TODAVÍA MIRANDO A LOS PÁJAROS. SIMPLEMENTE POR LA ALEGRÍA DE "HACER". |
That dog is like 'I see you with that camera!'
ReplyDeleteKMoff:
DeleteHe did.
There is a guy from Spain who visits the campground I go to in the summer who builds these same sculptures. But he keeps them up. People always wonder how they got there, or if there is a cult nearby. Pretty funny.
ReplyDeleteMistress maddie:
DeleteI wouldn’t be happy knocking them down. But they could hurt someone if they fell unexpectedly and their even less permanent on the beach.
aw, he should have left the cairns standing; his own little stonehenge.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the puppy!
Anne Marie:
DeleteI loved that he simply enjoying building them. No legacy needed. Anyway, I’m sure he was thinking about safety. Those would hurt if they fell on you..
"the Joy of Doing" - we never stop playing - only the toys change
ReplyDeleteTravel,
DeleteHis toys reverted to a simpler, cheaper age.
Sometimes the fun in creating something is to enjoy it and then knock it down.
ReplyDeleteBob,
DeleteThat might be something for me to learn... in terms of art at least. I seem to live that way!
All things in life are transient.
ReplyDeleteDebra,
DeleteAnd nice if we can embrace that.
Your cats have the fine art of "doing" well-down - a good lesson to us all. Love that you caught all the cairns up for us.
ReplyDeleteSillygirl,
DeleteRight now I’m practicing doing nothing with the cats. They’re doing a better job of it.
Life is good.
ReplyDeleteWilma,
DeleteThat needs to play on a loop in my head.
he should have left them up
ReplyDeleteAdam,
DeleteNo, I like that the doing was what mattered. Also, they could be dangerous for kids and anyone else who came along. They’d become even less stable very quickly.
Better he knock them down than someone else. Likely why he did it
ReplyDeleteCheapchick,
DeleteExactly!
Not all art needs to last, like those sand mandalas Tibetan monks create. Beautiful yet temporary.
ReplyDeleteStephen,
DeleteAnd the hours spent on those impermanent Mandela’s amazes me.
The impermanence of life.....
ReplyDeleteJim,
DeleteAnd finding and creating beauty however long it lasts.
that fellow is up to no good. The cat is no better.
