1) It should be CHICAGO and not CHIGACO.
2) The number 23 was Michael Jordan's number when he played for the Chicago Bulls (basketball). I have no idea the meaning of the pseudo–Roman numerals XXLV inside the "2."
3) Chicago is not on the West Coast. Maybe ChiGaco is.
4) And you can NOT "get the full city experience with outfitters nation metro at the cornor [sic] of..." Yikes!
5) I think I need this sweatshirt!
CHRERRY MISTMAS!
CHRERRY MISTMAS!
Uf!
W T F????? made in china, right?
ReplyDeleteanne marie:
DeleteMADE in China. SOLD in a Chinese store. So entertaining.
I need thatshirt. I'd wear it just to see if anyone here notices how wrong it is.
ReplyDeleteLike the cats noticed.
Bob:
DeleteDudo's fluent in English and Spanish and just couldn't believe this. I would never wear it here, but it would be fun to wear in the USA.
You should wear it the next time you are in the US and see if anyone notices. I wonder if the mashup is to avoid trademark or copyright issues?
ReplyDeleteTravel:
DeleteYes, it wouldn't be much fun to wear it here, but I though it would be fun in the USA. I really don't think it has anything to do with copyright. It would be like me creating a shirt in Chinese from a bunch of random Chinese clothing items I see. Not a clue what any of the characters signify.
Hahahahahaha! But you can't get anything by those clever cats!
ReplyDeleteDebra:
DeleteI suspect that Moose can't read. He just looks away when I show him anything. Dudo, on the other hand...
LOL,LOL,LOL! What a trip! I'm sure,Chicago would be appalled.
ReplyDeleteHoped you guys have a joyous Yuletide dear!🍸🎄🍸🎄🍸🎄🍸🎄
mistress maddie:
DeleteI'll bet this sweatshirts would sell like hotcakes in Chigaco... I mean Chicago. I found some interesting New York shirts, too. This sweatshirt, however, should not have to share the spotlight. Jerry has been baking. Christmas Eve is going to be good!
Even Dudo's thinking "WTF!"
ReplyDeleteRay:
DeleteDudo thinks that a lot. Humans!
One of those "The more you look, the worse it gets" images.
ReplyDeleteAdam:
DeleteExactly. At first, all I thought was Chicago was spelled incorrectly. At least the number 23 was right.
Moose looks like the wall sculpture next to him. Dudo thinks that shirt looks off from any angle.
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteThat's Olivia on the wall. Moose and Dudo were standing side by side on the ledge (a first) but the minute Moose saw the camera, he squatted and looked away. Dudo, on the other hand, is always ready for a close-up.
Ha! You must mean Mikhell Djordunn. He played for the Chigaco Balls.
ReplyDeleteWalt the Fourth:
DeleteOh! I have such a hard time keeping my sports icons straight.
Hi Timchell, just popped in to wish you and Rejjie a very happy Christmas.
ReplyDeleteYack at Bou, Zozrie!
Deletethis made me laugh, this type of big label or designer label style sweatshirts 25 years ago were all the rage in Lebanon, Syria, Egypt etc.. It was suppose to show that you were with it or had money. The message on it meant nothing or the person wearing it thought it did, never having been to such a place. Also Football american style and basketball in countries where such sports are not played is another area of confusion. Oh well, tacky tacky. LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteLaurent:
DeleteThis one is so bad, it makes me want to have one. But there are so many others here. Mostly made in China.
I once bought a Halloween banner from China that read "Happy Halloweb"
ReplyDeleteSpo:
DeleteOh, I would have bought that, too, and I don't even decorate for Halloweb.
My first comment made even less sense than the shirt. I'll try again. XXLV equals 23 in roman numerals, I think. Or maybe XXLV stands for eXtra eXtra Lasting Virgin. ? I don't know. Strike two! =)
ReplyDeleteCheers, Mitchell.
Robyn:
DeleteHa! XXIII is 23. I like your virgin version, but maybe it's eXtra eXtra Large Virgin.
Haaaa!! Love this!

DeleteI'll bet these would sell like hot cakes... In Chigaco.
