IT'S OUR FOURTH day in Washington DC and here I am sharing photos of our taxi ride from Downtown Brooklyn to Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan. It's been that kind of week.

I love these :)
ReplyDeleteJudy:
DeleteWe sat in traffic forever but I enjoyed the drive because of the shots I could get.
Not much of a big city person but I like the one building that looks like a giant squeezed it in the middle.
ReplyDeleteDeedles:
DeleteI love that building, too. Lots of unusual shapes now in NYC. But the traffic and congestion is just way too much for us now.
the new penn station at the bottom; much more grand than madison square garden yes? can't wait til it's finished.
ReplyDeleteanne marie:
DeleteSame here. I was so happy to see that.
One amazing city.
ReplyDeleteTravel:
DeleteNothing else like it. But just way too many people and cars now. What used to take 20 minutes to drive now usually takes 45 minutes... if you're lucky.
New York changes by the hour, I swear.
ReplyDeletemistress maddie:
DeleteI agree. I can't believe all that has gone up and all that is going up. But there's no room on the ground for all the people!
I hope you're enjoying DC
ReplyDeleteAdam:
DeleteDespite awful weather, we had a very nice time in DC.
How fortunate to have such clear and lovely weather for your journey.
ReplyDeleteSpo:
DeleteWe were very luck in New York. Not so lucky in DC. Ankle deep in puddles!
No worries. We'll take them as we get them. Great shots, all!
ReplyDeleteWalt the Fourth:
DeleteAnd the sorting and editing has begun!
Hello Mitchell.
ReplyDeleteI came across your blog while researching about American expats in Spain. I still have a few years and currently live in Germany but would love to talk to you.

Some great pictures.
ReplyDeleteKirk:
DeleteThanks. I was surprised. The light was perfect from that cab window.
Thanks for the tour, Mitch!
ReplyDeleteJim:
DeleteI thought it was a fun way to share the sights. Thanks for coming along.
