East Side West Side / Lado Este Lado Oeste

IT'S OUR FOURTH day in Washington DC and here I am sharing photos of our taxi ride from Downtown Brooklyn to Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan. It's been that kind of week.

ES NUESTRO CUARTO día en Washington DC y aquí estoy compartiendo fotos de nuestro viaje en taxi desde el centro de Brooklyn a la estación Penn en Manhattan en el centro de la ciudad. Ha sido ese tipo de semana.

We sat in traffic forever but I enjoyed the drive because of the shots I could get.

  2. Not much of a big city person but I like the one building that looks like a giant squeezed it in the middle.

I love that building, too. Lots of unusual shapes now in NYC. But the traffic and congestion is just way too much for us now.

Nothing else like it. But just way too many people and cars now. What used to take 20 minutes to drive now usually takes 45 minutes... if you're lucky.

I agree. I can't believe all that has gone up and all that is going up. But there's no room on the ground for all the people!

We were very luck in New York. Not so lucky in DC. Ankle deep in puddles!

  9. Hello Mitchell.
I came across your blog while researching about American expats in Spain. I still have a few years and currently live in Germany but would love to talk to you.
