Cervantes And The Pudding / Cervantes Y El Pudín

ACCORDING TO AN 18th-century translation of Miguel de Cervantes' Don Quixote, "the proof of the pudding is in the eating." (The original Spanish is, "You will see it when you fry the eggs.") I strongly agree, especially after eating the pudding (dessert) Sunday night at our favorite restaurant in Málaga, El Mesón de Cervantes. It was my cousin Sheree's final night in Spain, and we enjoyed ourselves — Sheree especially. For her, the proof of the mojito, red wine, and Málaga wine was in the drinking, too. I don't know how she made it onto her flight early Monday morning, but I hope she slept well all the way home.

It's hard to believe what's going on in the north. Well, it's hard to believe what's going on all around the world.

Thank you! I wondered the same thing. (Definitely though, much too sweet and doesn't cause indigestion.)
