I HAD THE pleasure this month of attending the wedding service of Adrián — the kind, funny, loving, and irreverent bartender/waiter at Meson Salvador — and Sonia. The fun started a week or so earlier with a Despedida, meaning "Farewell" — the Spanish version of a bachelor or bachelorette party. To their credit, Adrián and Sonia combined their parties. I didn't attend the Despedida, but I did see the pictures. I can't decide which of Adrián's suits I like better.

La diversión comenzó una semana antes con la despedida. Para su crédito, Adrián y Sonia combinaron sus fiestas. Yo no fuí a la Despedida, pero sí vi las fotos. No puedo decidir cuál de los trajes de Adrián me gusta más.

DeleteI, too, love that flamingo outfit. I don't know if I would have had the guts to wear it. Underneath the flamingo is a pink leotard. Adrián has no shame.
