THESE MAY NOT all be outfits I'd wear, nor combinations I'd ... um ... combine, but I have grown to love them and I'm grateful to all these wanderers who continue to add color and contrast to my life. Unlike so much that's going on around the world, these differences don't feel to me like they're insurmountable.

See, WOMEN know not to combine patterned material. Both the women in these photos paired a patterned top with plain white/cream shorts. Why do MEN not understand this basic fashion rule? It's not hard!

DeleteIn this day's images, you could be right. But, in general, I've found women to be as "daring" as men.
I do remember noticing, when I lived in Paris, that there was unexpected pairing of patterns like this... as long as the colors worked, the patterns were no issue. Sometimes, it worked. I see this in French interior design, too... somehow, though, it comes off better in a living room :)
