IN THE OPENING of the 1930s American radio program "The Shadow," a distinctive voice (of actor Frank Readick Jr.) asks — and answers — "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows." I wish my shadow didn't know quite so much.
But, I don't want to add to anyone's misery. So check out the pineapples I saw during morning coffee.
WTF was she thinking!?!
ReplyDeleteCheapchick:
DeleteShe didn't look like she saw the humor in it.
does this shirt make my tits a target?
ReplyDeleteanne marie:
DeleteI've seen some strange ones.
At least it wasn't cantaloupes. Very moody shadow portrait.
ReplyDeleteWilma:
DeleteCantaloupes were my first thought, too. I WAS very moody!
Great shadow photo!!
ReplyDeleteOdd what people will wear and why. Wondering if he was wearing something matching.....
Jim:
DeleteHe had on a camouflage hat... so no one would see him?
Good taste?
ReplyDeleteDebra:
DeleteIf one likes pineapples.
I doubt they're fresh
ReplyDeleteAdam:
DeleteThat's very good... and I can't get in trouble for saying it!
That is worse than any mixing of plaids and stripes.
ReplyDeleteBob:
DeleteI agree. And I've got more plaids and stripes coming to prove it.
Those pineapples seem to be saying, "Okay to look but don't touch."
ReplyDeleteStephen:
DeleteJust an odd choice, I thought.
And speaking of tropical fruits...
ReplyDeleteWalt the Fourth:
DeleteIt's so awkward. I've gotten dirty looks for staring at women's "boobs" when all I was doing was trying to read what they had printed on their T-shirts.
Shadows can be awesome like this one.
ReplyDeletePineapples belong on trees,
that's all I have to say
and
bananas do too.
Ron:
DeleteThat was a moody night and a moody shadow. As for the pineapples, just an odd choice to wear.
Thanks for the early morning laugh!
ReplyDeletesillygirl:
DeleteI'm glad it was good for you, too.
Careful now you will end up like that guy Weinstein.
ReplyDeleteLaurent:
DeleteNot a chance. What an awful man!
My father adored the Shadow radio series. I think you can hear them on Podcasts.
ReplyDeleteSpo:
DeleteMy mother loved it, too.
