The Blue And The Gray / El Azul Y El Gris

Sometimes, the skies are gray in Fuengirola. But, usually, not for long.

I love gray skies... because we don't see them very often and, when we do, it's usually not for very long.

MOOSE has now taken to sitting on the table staring longingly in the direction of the neighbors. He's wondering what he missed. I've got to order those screens!

I know the feeling. One of the reasons we choose to live in a place l like this is because neither of us does very well with prolonged gray skies.

What is it they say? Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me six times... Oh hell!

  5. Today is our first day of sun after clouds and rain for 12 days. It is a beautiful sight, just like your photos are.

I can't imagine 12 days of clouds and rain here. Nor can I imagine what we'd be like under those conditions. You wouldn't wnat to know us.

I love gray days because they're so rare. Wish we'd have another good rainy day.

  7. Is Dudo getting bored after his experience and now yearning for some more excitements? Perhaps you ought to take him out on a lead!

Oh, we've imagined THAT and shuddered at the thought. Dudo or Moose on a lead... Too late for that training!

OK, I have to admit, I really just got him mid-yawn. Dudo is not a loud complainer (unlike Moose who never shuts up). Dudo just gives you "the stare."

Aw, thanks. I am honored to win the Mistress Maddie contest. Dudo was simply yawning. The only time he drops his jaw and bosses me around is when I'm getting his treat dished up. I'll have to take a picture of that -- which will REALLY piss him off.

  10. You rarely show cloudy pictures in sunny Spain, but i imagine a rare rain can be refreshing.

Even our cloudy, gray days can have plenty of blue in them. But we DO rarely get dreary, rainy weather. We are really in need of a good, long soaking.

As for the cat, I hate to be in your shoes this week. Sleep lightly I say.

This are two of the most gentle cats you'll ever meet. BOSSY.. but gentle. Dudo has calmed down about going next door. Now he listens by the front door for Jean and Ray.
